Hi there-
As most of you may know (from my posts) working out is a big mental struggle for me. BUT with all your support- I have almost finished Stage 4 now (which has been dragged out alot but just finishing up to this point is quite the accomplishment for me....)
I was last weighed at the dr's office on March 20th. At 144lbs. At that point I was definitely losing inches and body fat (as I was more toned and not jiggly) but the number on the scale wasnt budging.
So I kept on trying my best. I'm never close to perfect and not a clean eater and usually only got in 2 workouts per week (+baseball)...but I tried and did what I could (I am super busy trying to grow my own business too....)
I got weighed today, almost exactly 4 months later. Now- its TTOTM so not sure how accurate this is BUT....... (drumroll please...)
I weighed in at 138lbs!!!!!!!!!! Thats BELOW my goal weight of 140...
I am so motivated right now and feeling great to be me.

quick ques...were you on a deficit or maintenance?? and were you ALWAYS eating clean? i mean a jacket potatoe or something carby once in a while or is that a 'no no??
So inspirational. I haven't lost any more yet, but yeah I'm still losing inches. I just finished stage 2 today. Will weigh tomorrow but not expecting a big change.
. . . Fingers crossed that when I finish stage 4, I'll be at my goal weight too!
Posting new measurements at the beginning of the month. Looking forward to that. Man my shoulders are muscular.
My marathon is on Saturday. I have to eat over maintenance tomorrow for sure, so I will be back on track after marathon time. We shall see what happens. Maybe I can drop 10 pounds running a marathon? LOL
im still down around 137-140 which is awesome and my goal. ive been eating well. night snacking is down to a minimum. i barely drink once a week now and only a couple.
been playing baseball, starting kickboxing twice a week next week and then dodgeball later in Sept.
havent been doing the NROLFW program though.
i have also been bike riding and walking too....
i'll get back to it later in the fall/winter. right now im enjoying the 7lb loss and keeping my eating in check. i love the summer. :)
That's so great that you got where you want to be! So what stage were you on when you stopped doing NROL? You're just supplimenting with other workout? That's kind of what I've been doing. Trying to do the program a couple days a week if possible but, it's been hard. Great job though!!!
cfyk: i stopped just a couple workouts into stage 5.
im supplementing lifting with alot of cardio activities. today i played 5 hours of volleyball in a tournament, tomorrow is baseball, tues and thurs is kickboxing (this week im doing a photoshoot wed and friday)
so- keeping busy, keeping active. i walk up to the mall and stores instead of driving, im biking to the market on the weekends.
its the summer. im cutting myself some slack. ill probably get back to stage 5 later in the fall when I really will buckle down. once baseball is done, ill be doing kickboxing tues, thurs and dodgeball wed. maybe weight train once a week on top of that. in no rush to finish, but ill finish stage 5, then move onto stage 7 (might do that a couple times to finish 2009....)
