hello everyone i just joined and i used to weigh 376 pounds and now i am 140 pounds. this has not happened overnite and not through bypass surgery, mainly a healthy lifestlye change and a wake up call. i was wondering has anyone else lost weight and how is maintaining your weight been.
all i can say is wow. that is simply incredible. i am currently working my way down from the 190 lb i became. I am currently at 180 and that took damn near a year. how did you do it? how long did it take? i find myself getting frustrated because i can't seem to lose even a pound a week. I work out, eat healthy and have a very active job but nothing seems to budge. eventually (usually around the 6-week mark) i get pissed and eat whatever i want until guilt puts be back on the nutritiously righteous. i know this yo-yo ing is what causes the body to live in a state of plateau, so how do you maintain inspiration?
Good job! I am working my way down down down. I have lost a lot of weight before and maintained it for five years and then got pregnant and had a streak of depression that left me where I am again today. As far as maintenance is concerned, I always exercised and tracked my eating, and it worked. There are maintenance options on this site. You can do it!
