Okay, so I have been very good as far as my calories and watching how much sodium I eat, etc.  My downfall seems to be the amount of sugar.  I am always at 150% on my sugar intake for the day and it is not like I am eating cookies and candy.  It is the fruit I eat that is killing me, but I have to eat it.

How does the amount of sugar effect our results?  Is it going to hinder my progress or should I cut out some of the fruit that I eat?

I have the same thing with the sugar.  I ignore it!  I know that I am eating great, and some extra sugar from things like fruit and rice will not hurt me or my weight.  In fact, I've noticed that when I eat a lot of fruit, my weight goes down much faster!

I'm not a dietitian, but I don't think your extra sugar from fruit will cause a problem.

DO NOT worry about sugar from fruits! It's fine because it's natural sugar. Now if you're eating over your calories for the day because of fruit then that's not good. But sugar from fruit is not what you need to worry about... added sugar is the problem.

Thank you.  It makes me feel much better.  I would hate to not eat fruit because I am only allowed a certain amount of sugar.  Thanks again.

There's different types of sugar. You don't want to get too much of the refined white sugar. The sugars in fruit is naturally occuring and is totally fine, so keep eating the fruit :)

Thank you so much.  I eat a lot of fruit and have been worrying about my sugar intake being between 130% and 200%.  I have been worrying that eating a  lot of fruit was going to give me diabetes.  I fell much better now.

Thank you!
