Sugar made me sick?
I'm not sure but I haven't had much sugar in two weeks. I would only have about 2tsp in my tea in the morning but not every day.
I made cookies today (chocolate chip) and ate one large cookie and a few hours later I was very sick and throwing up.
Has anyone else experienced this after not having sugar for awhile?
That's quite an extreme reaction. You might have expected to find the cookie a bit over-sweet and sickly tasting after two weeks without sugar but you shouldn't have vomited. Perhaps you've got one of those winter vomiting viruses?
I will only feel like throwing up if I take in too much sugar. Sugar has a weird effect on us - it feels good eating it but the aftermath can be very dreadful.
some people can become drowsy or dizzy of it but vomiting seems like something else. I myself become very drowsy of sugar, almost as if I had a lot of alcohol but without the whoo-hoo effects.

Thanks
