Does suger free gelatin contain beef?

I have several food allergies. My main one is beef and I was told that gelatin contains beef. Is that true?

Gelatin contains either beef or pork. It is made by processing of the skin, bones and connective tissue of cows and pigs, which is actually good food, but not when you have a beef allergy. The ingredients in sugar free jello consist of water, gelatin, artificial sweetener, artificial flavors, and food coloring.
