Any suggestions?

Female- age 23- 5ft 7in- 264lbs- Started CC in February and have lost 35lbs on diet alone.

Recently I've started walking on the treadmill daily for 30 minutes and burn around 300 calories.  Before I started walking the CC tools told me I should eat 1650 calories a day (with my activity level at sedentary) but now that I have moved my activity level to "light" it recommends I consume around 1950 calories.  I am still losing weight eating 1650 kcal but my deficit is somedays more than 1000.  Should I up my calories AGAIN?  I have kind of a difficult time getting to 1650 somedays...

Any suggestions?

Hi Coley.  Where you are now weight-wise is where I began on my weight loss journey 6 years ago.  It took me @ 1 year to get to my goal weight losing @ 1.5-2lbs per week.

When the word 'diet' comes in to most people's mind, automatically we all think 'no more food!!!'.  I know that was my mindset for at least 32 of the 39 years on this planet.

Reconditioning the brain to realize eating more to lose weight is a hard thing to do when all we hear is the exact opposite-except on this site; that's why I love it so much.

Consuming the right amount of calories-and the right food-takes awhile to sink in as well as a lot of time reading other threads/posts, success stories, trying different things to see what might/might not work for you (mixing things up a bit-everyone does things differently here but w/ the same goal in mind-to EAT and exercise in a healthy fashion).

Try what the analysis gave you for a few weeks and when you have difficulty getting your cals up grab some nuts, cheese (make sure your fiber is up there-cheese has a nice way of binding your systemEmbarassed) etc,.  These are healthy, calorie dense alternatives that won't make you feel stuffed to the gills!

Good luck!

move your activity level back down to sedentary and log your 30 minutes of treadmill separately under Activities. This will give you a more accurate calorie burn/ calorie target.
