I need to purchase a good scale (electronic one preferably)

Any suggestions for a brand to get?

Thanks

I've had my digital sunbeam for about a year and it's done me pretty good. I've heard of other people's digital scales fluctuating to the point of frustration and mine always give me a solid number. Good luck, regardless!

take care!

Well..

I suggest go to Target or Walmart and get a plain digital scale... I just bought one from Target and it cost me 19.99... You can buy a fancy scale that will calculate BMI, but you can do that for free on the internet...

I highly recommend digital because there will be some weeks that you may only lose .5 or half a pound... That is common and normal to lose a 1/2 pound and you will want to see all your progress and not get disappointed......

Sometimes, keeping it simple is better.....

Good luck.....

I definately want a digital one, so I can see all the half pounds lol

Thanks

I love my health-o-meter purchased from Wal*mart. Its very reliable and weighs in .2lb increaments. So even if you only lost .2lbs it will show. Anyway, it also does bodyfat% and water weight and all that jazz. COst $40 and well worth it.

I bought a $30 one (CAD) from Walmart. It goes in 0.2 lb increments and I have not had any flucuating problems with it (apart from when I actually gain/lose) - but on a daily basis it is constant for me if I step on/off/on again. Sometimes I wish it was lying but I am fairly confident it does not lie to me.

I am blanking on the name brand of it - but it was glass top which I thought was prettier and had chrome feet. Also came with batteries!  Ready to use right out of the box!

Brand name: Taylor (#7506)

I bought a pretty stylish glass one so that it meshed well with my bathroom set-up.

Like $40 at Bed Bath and Beyond. The brand is "Thinner"

Linens 'n Things is having a going out of business scale and they have some pretty sweet "Thinner" scales for 40 or 60% off! I should have gotten this cool glass one.. :(
