How can I improve this group?
How can we get members more involved?
we could start discussions on topics of interest: converting recipes of popular dishes to vegan; WHAT is vegan, discussing the different categories of vegetarianism; why is vegan healthier than not (cuz it trully is); a topic dear to my heart is HOW is vegan the original diet for mankind as the Creator designed; and one topic for new vegan/veges is how to eat a balanced diet as many folks mistakenly believe there is not adequate protein in a vegan diet, and think it may lack in essential nutrients.
I was thinking I was a moderator on this group, but I know I am not here on a daily basis, maybe weekly, and need to be more organized in presenting materials and participating....
I'm fairly new to the site, but I think all of those suggestions would make great topcis! I'm especially looking for ideas about how to transition dairy out of my vegetarian diet. I hadn't expected that to be hard because I wasn't a big dairy-eater before I stopped eating meat. But since then (about 4 months ago), I was surprised when I started gaining weight. Once I started journalling what I was eating, I saw that basically I started eating more dairy. ??Can't really figure my own self out sometimes?? I would also like to see more vegetarian/vegan recipes that people would be willing to share.
