I didn't pack a lunch today.  I usually have two hard boiled eggs and a salad; that's what I eat everyday for lunch.  In the past, when I've not brought a lunch from home, I eat at a Vietnamese restaurant around here and have the noodle soup (pho) or the noodle plate, yes, I eat the beef or pork plates.  I stay away from the friend plates.  However, I don't know how healthy it is to eat this food, even if I only eat the noodle plates.  Anyway, I digress, what can I have for lunch today?  I'm trying to lose about 20 pounds to bring my weight to around 140.  Suggestions please.  Thanks.

Mmmm pho!
Without a calorie target or any insight into what your options are in terms of the venue I'd say have a sandwich of sorts with tons of veggies, a good hearty bread, lean protein...no cheese or mayo unless low fat. With a side salad with low fat dressing. Or have oatmeal and a nonfat latte at a cafe with a side offresh fruit.

Do you have a Subway near you? It's probably one of the best fast food places out there, nutrition-wise.  I had a 6" turkey on italian w/o cheese yesterday for only 280 calories. With low-fat mayo it's 50 calories more, with mustard it's only 5 calories more.

Seconded on that one! I've been craving pho for months...

you could pack any kind of salad, with beans or nuts and rasins to top it for sustenance and vinegar as dressing so it has no calories.

you could also make sandwiches in a pita, like salad sandwiches, or a tuna sandwich.

Leftover soup is also good.

How about veggies and crackers with hummus?

So many things. Anything you would regularly eat, basically.
