Summer beverages
Does anyone have any ideas for nice, low-cal, summer beverages (mainly looking for daytime-stuff, alcohol free). I love ice tea, and I tend to make sun tea (put tea bags in cold water, leave it in the sun for a fe hours, put in loads of ice cubes. No boiling). What do you guys like?

I love Crystal Light- great low calorie way to get me to drink even more fluid than I do normally.
Smoothies are also amazing- filling and yummy. My favorite is strawberry banana, though I put in frozen berries since I think it gives it a thicker feel.

My blender is my new best friend. I live in Florida, so when it's not raining, it's hot. And humid.
I like to put in any diet soda and blend it with ice. Orange pineapple crystal lite, diet sprite and ice tastes awesome, too. Try blending black coffee with ice and add cool whip free instead of cream - only 15 calories per 2 tbsp!
If you're looking for a heavier, but still lowcal drink, try blending coffee, ice, and half a banana. It'll come out nice and creamy. Not bad for 50 calories. Also, if you want a chocolatey twist to your iced coffee, add either half a scoop of chocolate protein powder, slim fast, or other nutritionally beneficial shakes. Tastes awesome and it's good for you!

Dang, I need a blender!
Wow, I think I'll try that coffe-banana-shake. sounds great. I live in Norway, so anything containing Crystal Light or cool whip is out of the question. So is chocolate protein powder. Even regular protein powder is way too expensive for me.

I love to make fresh mint tea with spearmint leaves from my garden. I pick and wash a lot of leaves and pile them into a pitcher, then pour boiling water over and let it steep until cool. Then strain and refrigerate. It's very refreshing by itself or added to iced tea or lemonade.
