Summer 2008 Bikini body Group -- Group closed, sorry

I fell off the wagon for a good three months and I have gained some weight. I am motivated to form or join a group so we can support each other to lose those extra pounds.

my plan is

1- weigh-in each Monday.

2- We will announce a winner each week. Whoever will earn the highest score.

3- Every day, you have 10 points total of 70 by the end of the week. 5 points if you stick to your healthy eating plan, the other 5 points if you managed to complete your workout.

3- post your stats and goals.

4- we will start tomorrow Jan 28, 2008. please post your stats either today or tomorrow.

5- we will follow CC guidelines so the challenge will be moving to the GAMES section.

6- we will end the challenge on May 1st. Hopefully by that time, everyone will be ready for a NEW BIKINI:)

my fat is very dense, so i can wear a bikini at 140, even though i'l only 5'2.

Points start TODAY. the challenge will be moving to the game section by the end of the day or tomorrow morning. I will check with the moderators. The reason it is moving there because this is the guidelines according to CC.

As I said there is 10 points everyday. please keep your points in a separate sheet and post them online on Monday. I want to see how is everybody doing.

Would you like to start a new thread in Games and Challenges and have this one locked with a link to the new one?  That means you will still be able to make changes to your new original thread in G&C.  The alternative is to move this thread completely, but then you will not be able to add/change anything in your original message.

Not sure what else to add, I try to get an hour of cardio 5x a week, usually on the elliptical or swimming.  And I try to keep my calories around 1500. Oh! And I joined a weekly yoga class. Hope it's okay that I'm a little late to the table!

This is just the motivation I need.....

I wanna reach my goal weight by May 2nd 2008. I try to get an hour of cardio 4-5 times a week....usually on the elliptical. I also go for a 30 min walk 5 times a week.

 * I've put my goal weight as 120/115 - while I would love 115, I am notoriously bad at keeping on track with weight loss, and don't want to push it!

Hey, okay so I definately had a huge binge last night, and all of today, most likely due to stress. I plan to get back on track tomorrow because that's when my exams are finished. So I didn't weigh in this morning because I would have gained alot of water weight and it would have been discouraging. So, can I just still keep track of my points and weigh in next monday? :)
I'm so in.... would like to wear shorts and tank tops this summer!

Colorbird: sure. you can do that but next time binge please substract 5 point that day...that way you will be motivated to not binge again. just start counting points from tomorrow.

Kay: can you please lock this thread and move it to the Game section so we will start the challenge. I will also keep a list of all the members.

I will give honors:)) for the followings:

working out early mornings. if that doesn't match your schedule, that is fine.

drinking 2-3 liters of water everyday

For bingers ( including myself) : if you binge one time, substract 5 points from the total points of that day. if you cheat a little but not too much, substract 3 points.

i wanted a bikini body this summer (and i would have reached it!) but i just recently found out im expecting. oh well, my baby will be all the joy I'll need. Besides, I'm still going to wear a bikini with my pregnant belly, I don't care. I think it's beautiful!

Just a quick question about daily points.  I usually try to take a day off of exercise each week.  Does that mean on those days I can only earn 5 points total?  Thanks!

if you don't work out 7 days a week, that is fine. you can earn 10 points for being on a healthy diet on that day. I can understand that some people don't work out everyday.

So, how is everyone doing so far? :)

Watching over what I eat is -relatively- easy for me But I haven't been that good with the exercise part... :(

Also, have you already chosen your bikini? :D
