Summer 2008 Bikini body Group -- Group closed, sorry

I fell off the wagon for a good three months and I have gained some weight. I am motivated to form or join a group so we can support each other to lose those extra pounds.

my plan is

1- weigh-in each Monday.

2- We will announce a winner each week. Whoever will earn the highest score.

3- Every day, you have 10 points total of 70 by the end of the week. 5 points if you stick to your healthy eating plan, the other 5 points if you managed to complete your workout.

3- post your stats and goals.

4- we will start tomorrow Jan 28, 2008. please post your stats either today or tomorrow.

5- we will follow CC guidelines so the challenge will be moving to the GAMES section.

6- we will end the challenge on May 1st. Hopefully by that time, everyone will be ready for a NEW BIKINI:)

Exercise: 305 mins -- so I went 6 of 7 for 30 pts

Calories:  all good for 35 pts

Total: 65 pts 

there'll be no bikini pictures here -- and for that ya'll should be thankful Smile  Just knowing I could is adequate motivation for me

 

Starting weight: 130lbs

Today's weight: 128 (so far so good! :) )

I  have kept to my diet all week: 35 points

I exercised from Friday to Sunday AND I walked all day: 15 points

AND the elevator was broken at my godparents (where I was staying all week end): 7th floor by stairs 5 to 6 times a day! 

i had a bad week binging. i'm only at 60 pts.

hopefully this week will go better.

I am at 182 this week that is 3 lbs down

Okay, let's see...

Starting weight= 145

Today's Weight= 142.6 (sweet!)

Diet: 30... Went over a bit on Friday, drinking with the buddies (although I didn't eat anything too awful, just a lot of popcorn!)

Excersize: 35 (I'm telling you, this is the easy part for me! I did an hour every day.)

 So, 65 points? Although I probably didn't drink enough water and I know I didn't get to the gym early any of those days, haha... I'm still pretty happy with that!

Starting Weight: 155

Todays Weight: 152 (yeah!)

I didn't go totally crazy eating Sunday, but boy did I want to.  I think Sunday is always my worst day.  I better be careful with the weigh ins being on Monday.  Hope that was the reason for only one pound loss.

So here's my update

SW: 158 lbs. CW: 157 lbs.

although I only lost a pound, I'll take it considering I wasn't too good this week

Food: 20pts

Now: 186...groovy! Most of it is water weight, I suppose.

Workout: 30 points

safina, i feel your pain. if i'm going to slip up, it's almost always on the weekend. my problem is that i get bored. during the week, i'm running around doing errands and getting to class while fitting in workouts, but during the weekends i have time to sit around and think about food, ha. so i try to keep really busy by doing stuff during the day (going to the museum, putting on a movie and FOCUSING on it instead of food, going for a long walk, going on a trip somewhere, whatever.. or even if i know i'm going to have to be sitting around doing nothing, like when i have a lot of homework, i'll go to the library so i can't be eating. at least that way if and when i drink, which is another one of my problems, i haven't been noshing all day and then feel guilty, you know?) whoa- long parenthetical addon there. anyway, hope that helps!

so i went to try and buy my "goal bikini" this weekend, and the only place where i found any i liked, target, wouldn't let you take bikini bottoms into the dressing room! only the tops! which is like... why would i buy this if i cant try it on? and also, i thought the rule was just to keep your undies on underneath? that's what i've always done when trying on bathing suits!

so, still motivated... but still bikini-less :(

Emily: pity for the bikini... But, there's always a way if this is THE bikini you want (need? ;)). You can order it online (I know, it is a bit more of a hassle than to buy it off the rack). You can try it at home, take the pic, and if you're not satisfied, just return it. Or you can try a different store if there are many in your area: not all store employees are that picky.

I will post my picture as soon as I get one done (today probably). Who's with me on that?

Hey petite_chicago, I posted my picture today.  Eek!  I'm glad it's January and there's time to change some really bad habits and actually find a bikini that works for my figure.  But you've got to start somewhere, right? :-)

I am posting my picture today (I took yesterday with my webcam and now, I have to extract it from the movie... I SHOULD get a digital cam, shouldn't I? :D)

I have problems finding bikinis that fit me too, as most don't make tops in my size...

Okay sorry off the topic, but where did you guys get the models that show your weight.  That is really neat

This wasn't a good week, mostly due to the weekend being Mardi Gras and Superbowl.  However, when I DID exercise and eat right, it felt great :) I'm already doing better this week!

great to hear from you. let us do better this week. I believe it is going to be better than the first week. the beginning is always hard but once we started, we should be ok:)

Thanks for the motivation Safina. I sure need it this week. I have felt like I needed chocolate and cookies these past few day :( But I am slowly starting to do better on exercise. How about everyone else?
