192 for the last week... Starting weight: 230... Total lossed: 38 lbs I am about 1/2 way there.

Weighed in at 470.6.  High Sodium and not enough water yesterday I know is the cause.

Monique, congratulations on reaching your half way mark!  Keep up the good work!

281.4 this morning.

That is a small bump up from yesterday (280.6).  I didn't pay attention to my water intake.  I don't think that I got all my water in.  Also, I had an Original Chicken Sandwich with Bacon and Cheese from Burger King last night.  No, I may not have gone over in my sodium.  But most of my sodium was mostly consumed in one meal instead of spread throughout the day.

I weighed 366.8, today and kind of feel like tigger, I have been bouncing around a pound up and down all week.

Weighed in this morning at 221 lbs. up another lb. but down 28 lbs. from the start so that is good.  Roger from Western NY

I decided to weigh this morning and it was 346.  The same place I left off a few months ago.  I'm sure it had gone down at some point, but then got busy and wasn't watching what I was eating, nor have I been swimming or walking recently.  This really is a daily thing - and what I do today - affects tomorrow.

So, today is a new day - the first day of my vacation - and I just wanted to know where I was starting from. I've been noticing my pants were not as loose, but my shirts are still fitting good in my arms. That's always been a problem area for me and it is so nice to look down my arm and from my view it looks like a normal size.

Good morning!

Lorraine have fun on your vacation! I hope you will exercise some type of control while having fun!! Eat more veggies...etc. Drink lots of water! Girl I guess you know what I mean.....hehehehe....Oh and walk whenever you can!
But most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!

~Maggie  Laughing

thanks Maggie - now all of those things will stick in my head - eat more veggies, drink lots of water, exercise some control and HAVE FUN!

I got it!  (oh - and walk when I can) see - repetition is good!  right?

280.2  this morning.  Down from yesterday (281.4).  I'll take it.

I thought that this was going to be way up after the trip to the Mexican restaurant last night.  The trips for Mexican or Chinese foods will always bump the sodium to over 5,000 for my sodium.  The high bump in sodium usually will bump up the scale the next day.

Hopefully, I will not have a delayed reaction tomorrow morning.

Weighed at 463.2.  I don't know what happened, but thank you Lord!

This is an old song everyone may know.

One Day At A Time

I'm only human; I'm just a man
Help me believe in what I could be and all that I am
Show me the stairway
I have to climb
Lord for my sake
Teach me to take
One day at a time

One day at a time, sweet Jesus
That's all I'm asking from you
Give me the strength to do everything that I have to do
Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine
Help me today
Show me the way
One day at a time.

Could you remember
When you walked among men
Jesus, you know when you're looking below
It's worse now than then
Pushin' and shovin' crowd in your mind
Lord for my sake
Teach me to take
One day at a time

Today is a gift, yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised.  We may have ups and downs on this journey, but just keep asking the Lord to teach us to take one day at a time.

mdb47374 - good advice, I think we can all benefit from this. Roger from Western NY.

Mark, I don't recall that song....but I like the words! ;-)

My goodness Norma Jean! You feeling a little lighter?? I'm happy for you!

Way to go Denna!

So is there a particular day that we weigh in? Or is it up to the individual?
I usually weigh in on Sundays or Wednesdays, but I'll do what I'm told!

~Maggie

Maggie,

Here is the song or link.   I hope you get to listen to it, it truly is one of encouragement.  Bless You and your family

Weigh and post for accountability whenever you want to.  We tried having a thread for weighing once a week but everyone seemed to weigh on different days.  So we decided just to have a "frequent weigh-in" for the time being.

There are two groups several of the members in this group have participated in Saturday weigh-in Group that Rocks (right now the founder/moderator is resigning - no one is really leading that group which weighs on Saturdays) and 300+ Club (your start weight needs to be at least 300+ pounds and they weigh the first of the month - dlbrown1020 can tell you more about it).

 281.4   this morning.

SW = 336.4 on 07/16/08    CW = 281.4    Weight Tossed = 55.0

============================================= ========

Oh Happy Day.  Keith brought home a couple of sweat shirts (among some other T-shirts and stuff) from where he cleaned out the Wrestling Team Locker Rooms at the high school where he works.  After washing the clothes, I held up the sweat shirt to start to fold it.  I looked at it more closely.  It is a men's size XL.  Last year at this time, I wore maybe men’s 3X (started to wear some women’s 5X).

I held this sweat shirt in front of me.  Do I dare?  Could it be possible that I have tossed that much?  HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY!!  It fits.  A little tight across the bosoms, but it fits!!!

Another happy event.  When we moved into this house, our bed could barely fit in the room.  We had to center the bed in a way so that my husband had enough room for him to slide sideways between the wall and the bedpost on his side of the bed.  I also had just enough room for me to slide between the other wall and the bedpost on my side.  Now he jokes about me being a pole dancer the way I can whip around that pole.  Anyway, this morning I am able to tightly fit straight forward.  My hips touch the wall and the bedpost.  But I can get through without having to turn sideways.

OK - the scales may not be budging in a downward spiral, but I am still making progress.  I must keep going.

I am so happy for you!  I bet you feel grand!  Here comes the happy dance!

You deserve the Happy Dance!

Happy Dance Party is about to start!!!!

(oops!  how do the words go?)

Way to Go db.  Its always good to see progress.  I am sharing your joy as well.
