I'm in! I'm Michelle and currently about 185. I have been with CC since January and have lost 43 lbs so far. I have about 40 lbs more to lose to reach my goal. I have been sitting in a plateau for the last 4 weeks....hovering between 185-192. I'm hoping to break out of it as I'd like to be in the 170's for my birthday, and near the end of this challenge, July1.
Great! and CONGRATS on your success this far! That is awesome! I wish I would have stuck to my new years resolution.

Since this officially stars tomorrow, I will weigh in the morning and post an exact weight then. I've been fluctuating between 185-192 so, I'll get the exact number tomorrow.
Hi I am definately in and need the motivation of a group and would also like to offer support, exchange recipes and help to keep me from the dreaded ........ tin which is banned. I weigh 196 pounds and will be aiming for a lose of 18 pounds in the 6 weeks.
Hi Bertiecat! What is the dreaded tin? :) That is a pretty heafty weight loss goal for only 6 weeks. It may be better to shoot for 2lbs a week and then if you lose more...AWESOME! You'll be even more thrilled! This way you wouldn't be so bummed if you couldn't quite reach that goal. But, it wouldn't take you much longer to get to it.
I'd be EXTREMELY excited to see a loss of 12 lbs in the next 6 weeks. But, I'll be happy just breaking into the 70's! I MUST break free from the plateau!!

I joined the Y last week and im on day 3 of circuit training as of Friday and have been working out between 50-55 minutes on those days. Ive been dieting since January 08 and lost 50lbs and im tired of screwing off. Sooo I started taking working out a lot more serious and have gotten back on the diet wagon 2 weeks ago. I fell off in January *sigh* but im doing good so looking forward to seeing what I can do by July 4th!
Last week I decided to haul butt on the stationary bike and rode a half hour. the next day I couldn't walk. that lasted a few days my muscles ached so bad. So got back on that today but only did 15-17 minutes, see how I feel tomorrow and up it to 20 and then 25 till I get to where I want to go and do that on my days 'off' from the Y.

Hey, I'm Jonathan and I overeat when I'm anxious. Joined this site the last week of march(09). I started dieting 55 days ago and the gym 2 weeks ago. So far I've lost 38 pounds so I went from 234.0 to 196.0. I still have a long way to go (53 pounds to be exact.) Goal weight is 144.0
These challenges are fun, this would be my second one. I'll be 23 in July 19th so I want to see how much I can lose by then.

I'm in. I am 18 years old, and I will be graduating high school in June. I am 168.4 pounds (my lowest weight this week), and am 5'6" tall. I would eventually like to get down to 145, and then maybe 135 (if I am feeling that 135 might be better for me). During the six weeks, I'd like to lose 5 pounds, or maybe *(if I'm feeling up to it) get out of the 160's (down to 159.8).
I'll give my Official Start weight for the six weeks tomorrow. The only weekend I might miss for weigh-ins might be June 14th, because that is my graduation day, and a whole lot of things are going on that day.
Hi! This is exactly what I need, please count me in. I am 24, turning 25 in June and am tired of how far I've let myself go. I started only a week and a half ago on CC and am at 232.8...I started at 237. I would love to be at 220 by July 4th and could really use the support of a group of people. My goal is to reach 200 and thats just an initial goal that I see as reasonable! I ultimately and looking to be around 180 so I can use all the encouragement that I can get!
I have a really sedentary job and a tight schedule so sometimes its easy to not want to make room for excersizing at all and just eat right but I want to be healthy AND stronger.

We have 7 people so far, including myself. I'll leave it open tomorrow until we get about 10, maybe a little more. THis is the first challenge that I've opened so I don't wan to take on too much. I think it'll be easier with a smaller group.
