Labor day has past us by and the smell of halloween candy will soon be in the air .. where has the summer gone?

Every time I'm forced to put on a sweatshirt and jeans, I cry a little inside. (haha)

I hate the cold and want my summer back already. It's only 9/12 and highs of 64 today. (64!!!!!!!!! WTF is that?)

There's no one posting in this group and I'm sad.

I love the cold weather!  It means that all I have to do to get dressed in the morning is put on a jacket!  I also tend to eat less in the winter which is nice!

The only problem I have with the changing seasons is the rain.  It rains and rains and rains.  And I still have to go to all my classes in the rain, and I walk alot, I've gone through two pairs of shoes in one year here.  Really, the soles wore out so whenever I walked in the rain my socks got soaked.

And cold weather means hot soup!

I am looking forward to learning how to ski this year! And doing some snow shoeing .. but hauling wood, snowblowing , driving on icy roads .. BLECH!!

I've been enjoying the cooler weather for my lunchtime rides (bike) and walks. i get less "flourescent" pink. Smile

My pool on the other hand was 61 degrees weeks ago. No more laps for me! Frown

I'm kind of looking forward to getting a trainer for my bike to use on the screened in porch this winter. Hopefully I can keep warm enough.
