Well.. if you like really crummy sci-fi, look into an author named Kelley Armstrong.
If you want something a little better, try Jim Butcher :)

I used to LOOOOOOVE Xanth back in the day.
The incarnations series as well.
My current faves are the Harry Potter series and the Neverland Chronicles by Dave Barry.

if u like fantasy... come spend some time in my head.
oh, well, wg is already there.
well, sort of. He's written two "prequels" to Peter Pan. targeted at same audience and HP & TPS.
oooooh, I Loved piers Anthony's Xanth novels, the Incarnations of Immortality was a real good series too. On a pale Horse was groundbreaking in my opinion.
if your looing for another good Author, I also lie R.A. Salvator, does a lot of writing for the "Forgotten Realms" series, (Drizzt Du'Urden kicks ass!) and also does writing for the Star Wars novels.

Seriously... dave barry is one of the FUNNIest authors... I miss his regular column,.... gosh he's funny....
I'm actually trying to read thru some of the "Great Books" I've finished the Gilgamesh Epic and Don Quixote. Almost finished the Illiad.
...
*snob*
Xanth started out amusing, but Piers Anthony's a dirty old man and his books just kinda got dumb.
Yeah, Incarnation of Immortality STARTED really good, but.. not so much near the end. :/
I read R.A. Salvatore and enjoy his "Woods Out Back" series.. never really got into the Forgotten Realms stuff too much.
The Terry Brooks "Shannara" series is pretty good. I may need to reread this :)
