...and is anyone else dreading being around icy cold beers and delicious fried foods all day? I'm headed to a party at my buddy Malcolm's house and I'm 100% positive he'll have all of my favorites which is synonymous with anything over 900 calories.  I have pretty decent will power, but we'll be there for a good amount of the day and hey, a girls gotta eat! Just shy of packing my own food and wearing blinders does anyone have any suggestions as to how to avoid temptation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated Tongue out

tcole let me tell you, i add on cardio for days like this....it is a day to have fun and i will not miss it....you live once and somethings i will not give up....P.S. if you are near detroit and there is a big white dude drunk as hell eating chicken wings, dont be shy say hello to me.....lol....good luck though...and remember no one is perfect!!

Hahahahaha thank you so much for your advice! You know what? I am just going to go balls out and have fun.  The games not on until later in the day so I'll just spend an extra 20 minutes on the elliptical at a higher level and call it a day.  

PS - Are you a Lions or a Michigan fan? Because I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio so if we meet up there might be a fight. Grrrrr.....Wink

i am a lions fan, but i am a BUCKEYE!! yeah people around hear dont like me to much but i am what i am....but i do hate LeBron James!! ha and we were friends for a minute....lol....but eat alot you cant be perfect every day!!! have fun!!!

I have a suggestion! take a fruit tray and veggie tray to share with everybody, it will be a nice gesture to your host as well and just eat from those! and if you want a beer...take some light ones...i like budlight lime. good luck!

I can only hope that either a) I can hold steady, b) That I get down enough so that I won't totally do myself in or c) That the Habs take the cup in 12 games. :D

I'll probably have it on, but not watching unil half-time.  Gotta see Bruce!  If the game is terrible, turn the channel.

Ok, so I did ok...still not the best.  I bought some of that 64 calorie Miller Genuine Draft beer and stuck to veggie pizza, fruit, guacamole, and tortilla chips the whole day.  I had WAY too much guacamole, but I resisted the deep friend chicken wings.  I could have done better, but I didn't do horribly.

How did everyone else do?
