It sounds like green tea with some extra caffeine. If it does make a difference it'll be too small for you to notice.
I do advice you rea;;y really strongly to drink green tea.
It will kick your metabolism hard ! Iam drinking about 8-10 glasses per day..i notice that i lost 1lb more per week !
iam using it fior 1 year now and i can see the difference...but you need to drink alot of it as i said above +8 glasses to see the difference..you will even swaet alot in doing very small activity .
go for it,believe me.
scam, scam, scam.
How did you know its scam ? did you done any research about your statement ?? if yes, please share !
The healthy benefits of the Green Tea are enormous. Not only does the green tea taste good, but it’s good for our bodies.
- Green tea helps to reduce the incidences of colon, bladder, esophageal, pancreas, rectal and stomach cancer by up to 60%. The antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate in green tea is very effective in fighting these forms of cancers.
- Green tea helps to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase the ratio of good cholesterol (HDL).
- Green tea helps to stop the development of blood clots which lead to strokes and heart attacks.
- Green tea helps to reduce high blood pressure.
- Green tea helps to lower blood sugar levels and prevents Type 2 diabetes.
- Green tea helps to protect the liver against toxins.
- Green tea helps to promote oral health by destroying the bacteria that forms plaque.
- Green tea helps destroys free radicals.
- Green tea helps to boost the immune system.
- Green tea has antibacterial and antiviral properties.
- Green tea helps to maintain a healthy fluid balance which helps to relieve stress and fatigue.
- Green tea helps to stimulate your metabolism which helps with weight loss.
Side Effects
Green tea does have some side effects but most come from the caffeine. One 6 oz. cup of green tea contains approximately 30 mg. of caffeine. People who are caffeine sensitive should take green tea supplements instead of brewing their own tea.
More than 6 cups of green tea daily can cause sleeplessness, irregular heart beat, diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness, headaches, and loss of appetite.
People with heart conditions, anxiety, panic attacks, kidney disease and sensitive stomachs should be cautioned about ingesting green tea.
For people who want the benefits of green tea but don’t like the taste, green tea supplements are available. The dietary supplements normally come in 500 mg capsules which are to be taken two to three times daily.
Uhh .. well as far as he says it aint jus green tea pills ... it has alot of other natural ingredients that help increase metabolism and help in shrinkin the stomach size to eat less .... am so depressed really i used to loose 5 lbs per week ! .... widout pills or exercise even !! .. now i barely loose 2 lbs :S:S ... so i waz hoping dat dose pills wud work .

First of all, there is a difference between some green tea based supplement and actual green tea, brewed in a traditional manner. Defending a mystery supplement because it has the name 'green tea' isn't exactly doing your research either.
To the OP: besides hoodia and guarana, is there any green tea in this supplement? What else does it also include? Without having a sense of the ingredients or dosage, it is hard to determine whether or not it is safe to consume. 100% natural doesn't mean anything, as deadly nightshade is both 100% natural and toxic.
Questions of safety aside, though, it is a safe bet that this product is ineffective, otherwise the company would want it evaluated by the FDA so they could advertise its health effects. All of these 'nutritional supplements' are just sneaky ways of making vague health-related claims without having to provide any clinical evidence of the efficacy of the product. Hoodia may have an appetite suppressing effect, but there is currently no sufficient scientific evidence about its composition or recommended dosage (Rader et al 2007). EGCG (the pertinent compound in green tea) and guarana may marginally boost metabolism but can also increase blood pressure (Diepvens et al 2007). However, you would be making a HUGE assumption to imagine that this company is actually using a dose of EGCG or guarana (not enough research on hoodia) that has been clinically evaluated.
Finally - 5 pounds per week is NOT a healthy weight loss plan. 2 pounds per week is the MAXIMUM you can SAFELY lose in one week. Many people on this site would be thrilled to make the kind of progress you are claiming; I suggest you count your blessings and resolve to continue your journey in a healthful way.

Why do you say your metabolism has been "low" lately? Are you eating too little? Moving less? Having issues with your thyroid?
Green tea might have plenty of benefits, but I'd say stick to actual green tea, and don't buy anything that promises amazing results - the more they promise, the more likely it's bs.
I'd also be worried about it being similar to the acai deals - you place an order, and your card starts getting a monthly charge that is near impossible to get rid of. No thanks.
My two cents is stick with real green tea. Remember weight loss should not be a race. Take your time and do it right.
I got roped into one of those deals and it has been months to get them to stop! It was called green tea extreme. I took it and it didn't do anything different than what I was already doing, which was just drinking plain green tea several times a day.
I know its a scam because I work at a tea shop, I've been tasting and selling teas for years. I do know all about tea and its benefits. Yes, tea has some benefits, which haven't been thoroughly researched yet. (well, lots of research with just as many results) Some people have grabbed on to those good results, put tea into a 'pill form' and added stuff because they know people will pay for things to help them lose weight without any work. Natural? big deal! Did you know opium comes from flowers? lets all start taking that! Natural is a buzz word that helps rope in the consumers. Please do stick to real green tea, I'm willing to bet that a lot of those good properties are there, but don't fall for the marketing scam.
I was under the impression green tea only boosts the metabolism because of the caffeine? If thats the case, does it boost it more than coffee? Coffee has caffeine...

the most thing i love in green tea it block the hunger specially at night time .there are people out there who pay loads of money to gastric band operation !and why is that ? so they will eat less = weight loss .
so, why dont we use the green tea to have the same effect of gastric band ? and its tea..really natural ..
if anyone want to try it..have pure green tea called EVER GREEN , its leaf not tea bag.
honestly , there pills kind of scam, because it got very tiny amount of green tea it .
Btw, my husband is a doctor , and he explain and make so many research about green tea, if its not safe i would never let anyone try it ..but it truely help .
Nice talk...Ill get back to you later..

no. do not believe the sellers everything they say. green tea is a healthy beverage but it is not magic
Well ... those pills are already proven by the FDA .. thats wat is written on the jar, so am sure its safe ! i dun think that it wud b dat easy to claim that it's proven by the FDA and turn out to b not true. isnt it??
Well i was losin the 5 pounds per week and i was stickin to low calorie healthy diet with a professional doctor ... but this was during the first month i started dieting but lately i have been facing many plateaus..
N alot of ppl are talkin abt the benefits of the natural green tea... but seriously i hate its taste (YUK!) .. so i thought it wud easier on me to take it in da form of pills n still benefit from it ... that's all ..
If you were losing 5 pounds per week your plateaus could probably be because of putting your body in starvation mode. My two cents for what it is worth is do not look for miracle diet pills and just stick to eating healthy and exercising.
I drink Green Tea because of the possible health benefits and it is better than soft drinks and I get tired of water.

Well i was losin the 5 pounds per week and i was stickin to low calorie healthy diet with a professional doctor as opposed to an amateur doctor? ... but this was during the first month i started dieting but lately i have been facing many plateaus.. You might want to look up what plateau means, if your experiencing 'many' of them 'lately' it's not a plateau.
While green tea is yummy and has some health benefits, it is no miracle weight loss supplement. Most of the amazing benefits in green tea, from studies, is in it's purest form and highly concentrated. You couldn't drink enough glasses to equal the potency in studies.

Yeah, it's been proven to boost more than caffeine for some reason. You've gotta be getting in excess of 300mg of ECGC or whatever that chemical is though, as that was the amount used in the study, so it's not really "proven" with anything less.
If you're getting pills - know the ECGC content.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
