What will you be eating superbowl day, and who are you rooting for?

I usually have my free day on Saturdays but decided to wait until sunday so I can drink beer and have wings with everyone.

GOOOOOOOOOO PATRIOTS!!!!!!

Go giants! :D Not that I know much about football!

edit; And I won't be eating anything unusual for super bowl! Probably won't even be watching it, since my dorm doesn't have a tv.

im no sports fan, but every year i watch the game for the commercials. i know, its rather pathetic. my mom is kind of a football junkie, but i dont think she has a preference.

and im gonna make sweet potato fries! first time ever! but im notorious for completely ruining an innocent vegetable the first couple of times i try something new. but then i learn and never make another mistake! until the next experiment, that is :)
Oh I found this artichoke dip and black bean quesadillas in Cooking Light that I'm taking to a party. Hahah, I get to eat yummy and best of all, no one will notice that I snuck in low cal/low fat food.

I'm going to eat a few buffalo wings and maybe some chips/dips at the party anddon't plan on drinking....I know a lot of people though  I know are planning on going WAY overboard tomorrow....and wherever I usually go there is a ton of food and drinks lol....

I kind of learned my lesson from last year...I totally gorged myself and then on top of it had way too much to drink...not a good combination to have when you need to go to class the next morning at 8 a.m. if you know what I mean lol...

but have fun and don't let food be at the center of your worries tomorrow...if you want to eat/drink more than you normally do, if you don't...well don't lol
Since my beloved Hawks lost in the snowy tundra, Go Giants!!  We are having ppl over to our place so we are making a turkey, brisket, and pork loin.  We will also have a veggie tray and some fresh fruit.  I think I have been doing CC long enough now (a few weeks) that I actually get full quicker than I used to so I don't pig out anymore.  Figure if I do go a bit over it is only one day and I am only human.  Will just remember that Monday is a new day.  Happy Super Bowl Sunday all Smile

Spicy sashimi salad, roasted butternut squash, steamed broccoli.

(Watching heavily-padded men chase each other around a striped lawn is no reason to abandon my healthy eating for the day!)

=^..^= MOLLY

Woop Woop I got STICKIED!Cool

Go Patriots!  And seeing as how I attend a college in Massachusetts, go potential riot after the game too!

Depending on if I get all my homework done, I may or may not watch the game, but either way I'm not planning on mindlessly snacking during the game.  In order to have some self control I no longer eat in from of the tv, or while doing anything else.  Boring, but it works for me.

I'm with triazletixy!! Go EAGLES! woo! I don't really know who I want to win, I guess the Giants since they are the underdogs. And I'll be @ work this afternoon..so I won't be able to watch it.  :-(

My 15 yo son is having a Superbowl party so probably 10-15 boys and girls that are 15/16.  I am making a crockpot of chili, make your own sandwiches on "dollar buns", doritos, crackers and cheese and carrots and dip.

I will have one small sandwich with mustard and turkey, and a bowl of chili, alreadly know the calories.  I will munch on the carrots instead of the doritos.

 Gooo Patriots.

Similar to what you said about switching your Saturday eating routine with Sunday, I tried to be a little stricter yesterday, to allow for some extra calories today.  I am going to a super bowl party at my sister's.  The way I am preparing as far as the food is to actually go in with a plan of action.  Since it is my sister's party, I know the menu, so I already have decided what I am going to avoid.  I am avoiding all chips and dips (dips are definitely a weakness for me), wings, and the mac & potato salad.  Being a New Yorker, I have to say Giants all the way!!Go Giants!!

Patriots for me, Giants for my father.
im completely blowing off proper portions. through the pre-game we've managed to eat a 1 lb bag of chips and half a can of refried beans. not including the cappucinos, and the 2-course breakfast.
and pork steaks for dinner.
i love living with my dad this time'o year.

Go Patriots!!

Since I just had my wisdom teeth out I will be likely eat some ice cream :)

Hating on the Pats.  Did anyone hate when Miami went perfect season?  Wish I knew.  Superbowl time.
GIANTS GIANTS GIANTS. love the g-men. they're totally going to pull this win.
Go Giants!!

I'm a Colts fan (looooove Peyton Manning!) so I gotta cheer for his lil brother :)

We had burgers, salad and corn on the cob. I ate my burger without a bun...does that count?

I can't stand it! 17-14 against the Pattys just 2 minutes ago.  No matter how much is on the line--and this was huge--we all mess up sometimes.
