Supplements as calories

I got to thinking today about how diligent so many of us are about counting/weighing everything we eat but the subject of vitamins and supplments doesn't seem to enter into total intake.  I'm cool with that because I would take them anyway and I'm losing weight.  Still though, I take 4 capules of NutraSea (Omega 3 oils), 4 capsules of Evening Primrose Oil and a number of other "dry" vitamins.   Haven't actually measured out how much oil this is in volume but probably close to 2 tablespoons per day and I would think at least 200 extra calories.

Makes me wonder if I should always keep this in the back of my mind or just call these calories "freebies" and not factor it in my daily intake.  Innocent

My bottle of Omega-3 gelcaps say that they are 10 calories per tablet...and yeah, I count the calories.

 

I wonder if I would have been happier not knowing.  I looked up my Omega 3 supplment and you're right.  They're about 10 calories each.  So are the evening primrose oil.  There's another 80 calories to the daily stack....  At least it's not 200 like I thought!
