Not Sure What to do!!!!!!!

Quote  |  Reply

I must be a dummy but I don't get it.  When I look up recipes it shows the following for Serving Size

Servings size as 180.0 g / Amount per serving - calories 230

How the heck do I figure this out?    What is the serving size???

       &nb sp; 1/4 Cup, 1/2 Cup, Tablespoon?????

Help......

Thanks.

If it's conversions you want I love this place:

the translation from "g" to any other measurement varies depending upon the item being converted.

I agree that while the "g" method of measurement is necessary for the mathematics of the nutrition fact, it would be nice if there was more clarity for those that are going to measure by ounces or cups etc. Perhaps a separate data field where the portion size is indicated given real world methods of measurement would help.

When you figure out what a serving is, you can type that in the notes space when you tag a recipe.

Jannid, Thank You so much for this info.  It's been driving me crazy.
