I couldn't think of any sequels that were better than the original and then I opened the thread and saw this. You hit that one spot on.

As a fellow Trekkie, I agree that Khan is the standard by which all Trek movies must be measured.  But that first one IS still out there, just like Star Trek 5....shudders....

I don't really think that many are better than the first.  I liked Kill Bill 2, though the first one was really awesome too.. and I did like Toy Story 2, but the first Toy Story is better, but not even by that much, though it truly is a classic for me.

I never saw Jackanus 2, but I heard that it's not nearly as good as the first one or the tv show.  Does anyone have input on that one?
