Survivor FANS!! Warning---Spoilers from most recent episode

So who's ready for China tonight?!!!  Woo-hoo!

I'm going to watch Survivor.  :) 

I haven't since the first season, but I think I want to this season.  As well, it's CHINA.  I've always wanted to explore China!

Yep.  I'm ready!

I don't have tv at home anymore, but I am still scheming to get a standing thursday invitation to someone's home who is also a survivor nut!

Was really pondering getting some good Chinese food from a place in town to eat along with the show, but silly me, I'm having oral surgery today.  Bad scheduling Kat!

Funny thing about this show, I always seems to like or dislike certain people at first and it really changes through the season depending on how they play.

I like Johnny Fairplaly at first, but then liked him less and less.  Then when he said his Grandma died jsut to get ahead, but she hadn't really, I lost every shred of respect for him.  You don't lie about stuff like that.

I have been waiting for the season to start for 4 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The first few episodes are bit all over the place, but after they vote off the fist few people it gets good.  I can't wait.  I heard the next one will be Survivor: All-Stars and they are also taping in China.

Oh my gosh-I cant wait!!! I plan my whole day around it!

I'm A Survivor--- China is going to be so cool...we are trying to adopt from China, but the process is soooo slow it may never happen...1 1/2 years and counting...

Survivor China, whoop whoop!  I am so ready. 

On a side note, are the people on the show getting prettier?  i liked it better when I could relate to the construction guys or the office workers.  How am I supposed to support a rocket scientist or a lawyer?  Ha....come on 8 o'clock. 

Less than 8 hours!!

We have the prerequisite oldies on there this time too, but they always seem to get picked off fast.

Except last time with Yao-man.  He was the greatest!

 

Hi, my name is Cheri, and I'm addicted to Survivor.  You should see me when I get home from work!  I rush around to get everything done so that I am sitting on my butt when it comes on!  I have supper going in the crock pot right now.

LOL I'm with ya Cheri!  I have no idea why I am so addicited to this show, but I am.  Something just defy explanation!

 

Hey everyone, i've watched survivor since the first season.  I don't miss an episode.  When first met my hubby i got him hooked too.  now we spend thursday nights watching survivor together.  We've been counting down the days.   Yippee can't wait to watch it.

Well, although I wasn't overly impressed with Chicken, I was a bit surprised when it was him that went.  Sorry, but I would have voted Ashley.  If you're that ill at the get-go, time out there will probably only make you worse as food, water, and sleep become issues. 

Right now, first impression is that Fei-Long is the better tribe.  They are at least working well together now.

While I completely respect Leslie's beliefs, I did think it was a trifle insulting that she walked out of the ceremony.  Jeff explained it was not religious worship.

And Courtney, get over it.  So what if you aren't a monk, are tired, etc.  Be respectful of the country you are in.  And if you think you're tired now..wait a few more days.  Her whining annoyed me right off the bat!

I would have voted off ashley or pg because she did kind of freak out and then start bossing people around.

I think chicken cooked his own goose ::giggle:: when he started out telling people what to do - got offended when they didn't listen - and decided he  wadn't gonna say nothin else to nobody... NOT PRODUCTIVE!  NOT EFFECTIVE!  I thought they made it look too much like it was between the girls... PLUS the surfing instructor guy - from what I can tell his strategy is to lie as much as possible - he told ashley she wasn't a target and then said to the camera that she was - and he told chicken he wasn't voting for him and then, I think, did.

I laughed SOOOO hard at courtney.  Reminded me of a few people I've encountered on this site... 100% cynical and whiney.  ;D

I think I like James, the gravedigger the best so far -- but I doubt he'll win given his lack of social skills

You mean Todd, the gay Mormon flight attendant.  I cracked up when the intro'd him as such in the begining, when they were all in that truck.  Who cares!

I was rooting for Chicken. I was born & raised in NC & he is just like a few of my relatives. I think he could have been a huge asset if they would have given him a chance.

I too felt like Chicken had strengths that Ashley does not.  However, like Nomo said, once he bailed out and wouldn't give an opinion, he was doomed.  I understand WHY he did it, but I think he shot himself in the foot by doing so.

I was surprised that Chicken went home.....but LAUGHED when he hollered at the end!  Scared the bejesus out of everyone there!  LOL!

I'm glad Ashley didn't go.  Can't control who gets sick when, and most likely the other will have their turn as the show continues.  :)  PG is just a little more serious.....and, quite frankly, SOMEONE had to step up!  LOL.

Nomo, I'm with you on James.  I like him the best as well, though Frosti is a close second.  LOL.

I loved the "But I'm not wearing a bra...." comment at the beginning!  Do these people not remember that they get DUMPED somewhere when they least expect it?  Man, I'd be triple-dressing!!  Three sports bras, three pairs of panties, couple of tanks, overshirts, shorts underneath pants.......sure, I'd be sweating at first, but VOILA!!  I'd have the biggest wardrobe!
