Ever been suspended from school?
I have.
My junior year in high school the guy I was dating at the time had been cheating on me with another girl named Sara. I found out one day when a girl I was sitting by was telling me how this Sara had been bragging to her about having sex in the school bathroom with this guy, the girl I was next to had no idea this guy was my boyfriend. Big mistake.
As soon as the bell rang I went stomping down the hall to my boyfriends class to let him have it, it just so happens the girl Sara was standing right smack in the middle of the hallway. Another big mistake.
I ran at her full force, grabbed the back of her head and smashed her face into the locker. The next thing I knew she was holding her nose and blood was everywhere.
I destroyed her nose, and then I punched her in the head until someone stopped me.
My friends stuck maxi pads all over her car and poured bottles of pop into her open windows, they also wrote nasty things about her all over the toilets in marker.
I got suspended for a loooooong time.
Now it is hilarious, and me and the girl are friends.
Any other suspension stories?
schnooder, you bad ass!
i was never suspended, but only because i never got caught. but then i never broke anyone's nose, either.

hahaha I wasn't planning on hurting her but she was there and I was pissssed! It was an out of body experience. I called my mom and told her thinking I was going to get killed and she took me to the China Buffet for lunch and my cop dad never got mad!
come to think of it, i had a moment like that. it wasn't over a boyfriend; it was an obnoxious girl who'd been pushing me around (literally and figuratively) for weeks. one day i snapped, grabbed her by the neck and slammed her into a locker.
she never bothered me again; neither did anyone else :)
Just once before I was kicked out of school entirely, for getting busted having sodas and candy with the BIC teacher.
That was a pretty entertaining story. I just got suspended for mundane stuff like repeatedly ditching pep rallies after they made attendance mandatory. They used to offer a "study hall" option during weekly rallies where I could sit and draw, but then they arbitrarily decided we all MUST participate in the jock-and-cheerleader worship.
My Mom wasn't thrilled, but she was actually kind of understanding about the whole thing, probably because there was no educational value to what I was skipping out on.
No... I'm not very rebellious. ![]()
I used to get picked on and I've been in fights, but it was always self-defense, I rarely fought back unless I *had* to defend myself. I'm not a very violent person.
I've never been suspended. I'm pretty inconspicuous, and rarely get in physical altercations. When I do, it's self defense and I don't get in trouble anyways because nobody notices. Ugh...on the first day of high school I got roared at by this teacher for trying to leave the compulsory football game/pep rally thing. Stupid.
That was the first and last physical fight I have ever been in. I do not usually have a temper like that. But it was in the moment.
Wow, schnooder! Only been in a physical fight once but got detention. I've only got suspended once for... sexual misconduct inappropriate behavior when I was in high school. Did not get caught but rumors caught up with staff/teachers and still suspended us despite both of us denying it and no evidence. *shrugs*
I had "detention" on my graduation day because I was caught skipping class the week before. Probably the most pointless and silly punishment I've ever received.
Hadn't ever gotten in trouble at school before, so I guess I'll consider it an essential experience in the nick of time.
I have to say my suspension is pale in comparison to yours. I got caught for skipping school too much. I actually think I was gone more than I went in my junior year but I got caught once and that was the one time.
twice.
in all honesty.
1st for possession of a handgun (sophomore)
2nd for threatening to stab a classmate with scissors (junior)
My suspension was shortened after the extenuating circumstances were sorted out. (2 days for the first, 3 days for the second down from 10 days.)
I got to talk to the superintendent (supernintendo !) of schools for alachua county. hahahaha.
twice.
1 wasn't my handgun, a friend asked me to hold it for her, she was holding for another friend. They were both expelled.
2 the teacher was a blathering idiot and didn't like me (no, i swear!) and me and this other kid were just screwing around, he took something off my desk. Well you know how I get stabby. But he knew I wasn't gonna stab him, he thought the whole thing was ridiculous. My mom cussed at the dean and the teacher!! then my dad sent me out of the room. Then I was in school the next day.
the teacher LIED. Said I had scissors over my head. I was holding them by the blade close to my chest. She was scrambling for a reason to have me suspended.
It feels like ass to have a teacher lie about you. Because you know who's word is usually taken. It was awful.
And clearly had no effect on my affection for a sharp pointy object. ;)

i skipped school all the time and got "caught" a few times (once when i decided to go skiing instead of to school, and one of the PE teachers showed of on the mountains with a class). he chastised me, but didn't turn me in. (had a similar experience with an english teacher at the bar, but that's another story.) the secretaries used to let me sign out whenever i wanted; i'd say, "hey nancy, i'm going to the beach. can you put me down for a dentist appointment?"
when they think you're a good kid, you can get away with almost anything.
but in grade 9 or 10 the VP cruised the beaches one day and caught me and my best friend. we got noon-hour detention with the same VP (we called it the country club).
No, I'm pretty lame. I got the first detention of my life this past school year (junior year). I had a few because of my chronic lateness, and then one for using my cell phone during "class" (even though it wasn't even class, and the teacher whose class it was didn't even care, it was some other teacher who didn't even know me and had just walked into the gym). I almost got one for wearing Uggs to school. Damn dress code.
but I'm known as a good kid, and my school doesn't really suspend many kids, they're just a bit heavy with the detentions. I'm with pg, it's pretty easy to get away with everything if they think you're good (and getting good grades is a plus, they seem to pay more attention to the kids in basic classes), and it doesn't hurt if the administration knows your mom & she's a big part of the parents association. heh.
See, my French teacher LOVES me, and I've probably broken almost every school rule regarding dress code, cell phone use, eating in class, lateness, etc and she's never so much as even threatened detention. I don't even like the language but the class is a good relaxation period.
3x
Once in boarding school in the UK for drinking on a camping trip. Whoops
Once in Canada for skipping school - and that week on the Thursday we got caught drinking (again) on another school trip so they doubled up my suspension.
Funny thing was I told the truth and admitted to it when caught and go off with no other penalty apart from in school suspension.
Woah Schnoodie's a bada$$! Haha. I know what you mean about the out of body thing... that happend to me once, but not while smashing someone's face in haha.
I only got detention for skipping on Senior Skip Day. And then I got detention for something in middle school, but I don't remember what it was.... and I got sent home in 6th grade because my shorts were too short haha.
Never got suspended..then again I never really was at school much. I had a lot of *sick* days. Heh. :P When I was there I kind of kept to myself. Most people in my school were a**holes.
I skipped more then half my senior year. This is why I did not graduate on time. But when you are 18 you don't get in trouble for skipping at the high school I went to. They just call your cell phone and tell you what classes you skipped, Like no sh** I skipped chemistry but thanks for the reminder. If your under 18 the automated system calls your parents phone, but if you get to it before your parents do, your golden.
Never been suspended, however after having an (in my opinion amazing) party for the end of the year my junior year which ended up getting busted, the administration and my friends did not get along well.
You see my friends and I were all varsity athletes or part of a sport. Fourteen of us recieved under-ages. The school got all uppity about and an investigation went on for months. However, the splendid news after that party and the ones in our senior year was that they could never pin anything on us. We were extremely clever and enjoyed pissing them off.Ahh to be a bratty teenager again....*sigh*
The strangest thing about it was that we were all athletes, and made good or great grades. I thought my principle is an extreme douchbag with an unattractive talent of being an a** except the assisant principal of my grade. He was excellent.
