Sweaty pits problem . . .

Quote  |  Reply

I've never had this problem before.  I was the type that only had to use deodorant during TTOM, but now, even with deodorant any time of the month, I find myself with embarassing wet circles under my arms.  Any ideas why?  Are there any super deodorants out there I can turn to for help??

idk why that would start happening, but certi dri will kkeep you from sweating at all. you can get it at wal mart.

I have the same problem, excessive sweating.  I use something called Driclor solution twice a week on a night.  I get in the Uk I don't know if you can get it whereever you're from.

You probably have hyperhydrosis.  Try Certain Dri. I belive there is a prescription called Drysol that you Dr. can write out for you.   Mine was bad for a while but it isn't as bad now.

I had this problem so I talked to my dermatologist. She said I probably had a minor case of hyperhydrosis. She said it was easily treatable with Botox injections into the armpit (weird I know) and since it was covered by my insurance plan, I decided to try it. Let me tell you, I  absolutely LOVE it. I don't sweat anymore under my arms and it is a very safe procedure (I did my research). I do have to get it done about twice a year, but it is so worth it!

i had the exact same problem!

i totally know how you feel, and im thirteen =]

it al started fro me when I was 11 and i tried evry single deoderant out in the market

certain dri is the best thing to ever be invented! it workd, seriously. it worked for me. in as little as two weeks i started seeing a little result. but dont get discouraged it will take a while to stop but it will, you wont even realize it=]  and sometimes it comes back a little and i use lemon jucie as weird as it sounds but my grandma told me and it does work

just squeeze a lemon or lime and put the juice undr you arms - it doesnt hurt, sting, at all. keeps you fresh and non-sweaty

i used the lemon juice, and certain dri at night and certain dry a.m. every morning from walgreens

good luck! =]

i too have suffered from the same problem hyperhydrosis and just recetly talked to my doctor about it. she wrote me a prescription for the drysol and that is what i will begin using tomorrow. she said that she has many females on it and they absolutely love it. hopefully it will work for me. if not i will be getting the botox injections. if your sweating comes back after trying something that means that it is no longer working and your body has become immune to it. i would reccomend changing what you use. dont be embarassed to talk to your doctor about it because trust me theyve heard it all!

whats TTOM?

i use "Tussy" i seriously love it. it helps a whole lot. &is only a buck.

I just ordered Drysol through the Canadian Pharmacy. I have this problem sometimes and I used to have it worse years ago and I used Drysol, so I figured try it again. I don't know but I guess I came out cheaper because I would have had to go to the doctor and then pay a copay and then pay for the prescription.

I used to have this problem and Drysol really worked. It smells like vinegar but you use it before you go to bed and rinse it off in the morning.

i have been using certaindri for about 1week it cut my sweatin a lil but not like i though it would i just order drysol i hope it works for me has anyone try this yey???????????????

TTOM = That time of the month :P

Drysol is amazing but it can be irratating-never ever ever use after shaving- OMG!! The new secret clinical stregnth is pretty good. Also, I found cutting out caffeine made a huge difference.

Certain Dri is amazing... I used to have really sweaty armpits and I started using Certain Dri at night... it took about a month of using it every night, but then I stopped sweating all together... I still use it about once a month, just to make sure, but it is AMAZING...

MDEJesus, keep using it, give it a couple more weeks to work...

I had the same problem. I tried Certain Dri but didn't like it because it made me smelly funny. It has a very vinegary type smell. I love all the clinical strength deodorants. They smell good and work great. I usually just get whatever one is on sale because they all have the same ingredients and work the same. Right now I'm using Degree, but I think Dove has one as well. And secret too.
