Asked by anonymous on Nov 02, 2009 in Nutrition

Answer

Sweet potatoes are excellent nutrient dense food for dieters and everyone else.  Just count the calories in your sweet potato if you are calorie counting.  Sweet potatoes are loaded with nutrients: starch (for energy), fiber, vitamins A, Bs, C and the minerals, potassium, copper, and others.  Many culture eat sweet potatoes for their staple food. The versatile sweet potato can be baked or grilled, or in a mixed dish or a baked good.
