Swimming and drowning (reposted from my journal)

Thought this journal entry might interest some of you:

I'm drowning... eating crap, gaining weight. I look in the mirror and see an ugly fat chick staring back at me.

And I'm swimming... I'm on the CC... eating right... the weight is coming off!

And I'm drowning. It's taking forever. It's too hard. I can't deal with the cravings. I'm HUNGRY! It's easy for you but I am not you!

And I'm swimming. I'm changing my life to LIVE IT not DIE IT. That scale is moving and by GUM I look pretty good.

And I'm drowning. I want to eat in a restaurant and order off the menu. The holidays SUCK. Exercise SUCKS. Where's my couch? Where's my comfort food?

And I'm swimming. Do these pants look great on me or what?! Has there ever been a dishier woman? Did we SEE me eat that salad with only a tablespoon of dressing? I can rule the world!

AND I'm still swimming! That's a pretty hot little reflection there. I'm FULL when I eat. I feel better when I eat well. I do not live to eat. I have found better friends than the ones who used to occupy my plate! I'm RUNNING and I'm BREATHING and I am not out of breath when I climb the stairs!

AND I'm swimming like a champ now! Hey everyone! I'm brilliant and beautiful and FIT! You can do it, too! We can all do it! It's more fun to be vibrant than anything! Let's get some media in here and tell the world: I AM SWIMMING!

I relly needed this. I am going to stop drowning.

I was walking through the library when this hit me. What a feeling to realize I haven't felt like I'm drowning for ages! I'm swimming... yes, even treading water is swimming!

Here's to all the swimmers! And here's a rope to all the people who are trying to swim!

I am swimming too. Mine kind looks like a doggie paddle sometimes but I keep moving foward!
