Last weekend I went to an antiviral clinic to preregister for medication in the event of a swine flu pandemic. The nurse said it's much like the regular flu except for these most obvious symptoms to recognize swine flu are a fever of 104 or higher and a bad cough that won't go away. Can you check your temperature? You might consider seeing a doctor anyway. Even if it is just something like strep throat, you should have it treated.

You can use this link - it might help...

AMA is touting the Web site, AMAfluhelp.org, as the nation's first comprehensive Web-based patient flu health-assessment program.

Swine flu is just a flu -- it does not usually involve severe headaches. It involves an all over achey body feeling, a heavy duty fever (which means your teeth will be chattering and then you will be sweating), sore throat and cough. I'm not sure if you mean by tremors that you were just shaking (which could be the fever) or if you had pronounced spasms in your hands, arms, etc?

You need medical attention and you should call ahead to let them know your symptoms and in particular the painful headache. Also, if you know whether you have been vaccinated for meningitis or not, be sure to let them know that as well, if they don't already have it on file.

If you're having a hard time breathing then you need to be seen by a doctor, like now! As it sounds, you are still in high school so I also think that you need to talk to your parents and tell them how you're feeling.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!
