Switch from CCC to CC+ scheduled for Oct 1, 2008
How to switch a Classic account to Calorie Count Plus?
When we launched Calorie Count Plus more than a year ago, we decided to continue running Calorie Count Classic until the new site provided members with a superior user experience. Now that we've achieved our goal, we'll be closing Calorie Count Classic on October 1, 2008 and dropping "Plus" from our name. If you haven't migrated your account already, you can do it now.
Why don't we continue to run both sites?
Having one site to focus our attention on will allow us to speed up the
development of new site features. In addition, the majority of our
members are already using Calorie Count Plus and nine times as many
people log into the site each day as do on Calorie Count Classic. We're
anxious to have our other members fully enjoy the tools and services
Plus has to offer, such as:
Ask Mary: Get expert answers to your health and nutrition questions
CC Challenge: Test your friends calorie consciousness
CC Groups: Discover members from your local area with similar interests
How will this affect you?
We can transfer all your Calorie Count Classic account data, settings,
and content over to the new site - it just takes a minute. Why not
migrate your account now? Click
here to begin the simple process. If you would like to find out
more about this switch, click

We want to hear from you!
Erik and I know that this transition won't be easy for everyone, since
leaving a site that you've grown accustomed to and value can be tough.
As a result, we want to get your thoughts on whether there is anything
else we can do to make Calorie Count Plus as good a site as it can be.
We want to hear from you - literally! Join our phone conference on
Monday, September 22nd, at 9pm EST. Here are the details:
US and Canada Dial-in Number: 1-800-610-4500 (Toll Free)
All other callers: 1-702-851-3339
Participant Access Code: 553963
