Weight Loss

Morning, folks. Just finished a bout with "Aunt Flow" and a weekend of trying to be "good" but didn't really make it. I'm still swollen from water retention and am up 3 pounds from my last weigh-in from about a week ago (NOT logging my weight until I get back to that weight!!!).
I don't know how much of the weight gain is water, and how much is from excess calories, but I feel like I'm back to square one. My sodium intake always seems to be too high despite my best effort, wondering if I should see a nutritionist since that may be the cause of the water retention. Until I do that, does anyone have any suggestions? Need to start my week on a better note than this; HELP!!!

Keep in mind that you have not gained three lbs of fat. For you to have done that, you would have had to consume 10,500 calories. Theres NO WAY you could have done that! some must be water weight, some must be flow related, etc, but its not 3 lbs of FAT. And thats the important thing.
Thanks, fluffy, I knew some wise person would pick up my spirits! I'll keep you "posted" on how things go later this week. I'm hoping to be back to my "normal" weight by the end of the week. Have a great Monday!
suzi, I'm having a similar Monday! And the only thing I can keep telling myself, too, is that there's no way my extra two pounds could be fat...just no way...right?...
I hope you're having a better start to your week as the morning rolls on! You can do it!

it's prolly a mix of water weight, with muscle gain
remember, muscle weights more than fat ;P
