I bought it and don't know if it has sugar added?
Has anyone tried the light version?? it is 50 carbs per serving and 10 g sugar but guess what they add water and splenda..
which one would you choose? Actually , I bought the one with calcium but I really don't like to get that much sugar unless it is natural from the fruit.

I'd choose the one with less sugar period, even if you have to deal with Spenda.
However in reality I would just eat an orange. Juice isn't all that great for you no matter what you do. :(

I buy that line of Tropicana juice, and I'm almost certain there's no sugar added. Note that there's no ingredient list -- the only thing in there is what is listed on the front (i.e. juice squeezed from actual oranges). Pretty sure if there were anything else, there'd have to be a list and it would be in there.
Edit: I haven't tried the light version, so I can't help you there. I don't mind the sugar so much right now because natural sugar is still quite a step up from what I was drinking before! :-)

hello Seldonlives. Thanks for your reply. Actually, there is an ingredient list. it says 100% pure pasteurized orange juice, fruitcal ( calcium + citric acid+ another acid I can't remember) + vitD3.
I just don't want to drink juice with sugar added. Hope to hear from people who use this juice while they are losing weight.

Oh, it's one of the enriched ones. Sorry, I was thinking of the plain variety. If that's the list, there's definitely no sugar added - it would say "sugar" or "high fructose corn syrup" or something of that sort.
Unfortunately I can't give any input as to losing weight while drinking it. By the time I incorporated orange juice into my diet, I had already plateaued (about 6-7 weeks ago). I can't imagine it would do any harm, though, as long as it were within your caloric limit.

I doubt they add sugar to it, as seldon says they would have to put it in a list (right?) but it really doesn't matter if they do. Natural sugar in juice form isn't really natural anymore, not without the fiber.
(I do drink juice sometimes so I promise I'm not bashing it!) :P

I'd rather eat an orange than drink juice, because the orange is so much more filling and has a lot of fiber to keep the tummy happy.
actually I bought the juice to add my protein powder and get a quick protein shake after work. I don't have time to use the blender in the morning.

im pretty sure its simply the natural fruit sugars, they just have to list them.
I used to drink a lot of juice (unsweetened). But since dieting, I've quit juice altogether. It's just too fast a way to down calories. However, if it's a way to help you get a decent breakfast, go for it. Having regular breakfast seems really important for staying on track food-wise throughout the day.
I buy the Light and Healthy version. It's great. I'm not a fan of pulp so it's perfect for me.
it sounds like the bottle will go to someone in need or back to the grocery store. I will not drink it after the reviews I have read here.
Give it to someone you know who likes juice if you're not going to drink it. By law the grocery store has to throw perishables away if they are returned.
But there's nothing wrong with juice in moderation. Especially this time of year. In my area, oranges are NOT in season until late fall, winter time. So I'll by orange juice once in a while when I have craving for oranges. :)
