who takes ADDERALL??? really curious about this!...

Quote  |  Reply
Hey guys--I'm really bummed to say I got back into that non-stop bingeing/depression cycle this week after 2 full months of feeling SO so good. I had stopped taking my adderall about a week ago b/c I was kinda tired of getting that crashy feeling at the end of the day and i was nervous that eventually it might make me binge or worsen my depression. Well....now I've been bingeing nonstop---has anyone found their depression also feels better if they take adderall? Wouldn't that kinda make sense since it basically revs you up! hahaI'm just curios b/c I know it can tend to kill my appetite and I don't really like that but it seems it helps me get the bingeing under control.

i take adderall and I've found it helps so much with controlling my pigging out session that i'd normally have.  but yeah, the days i don't take it I eat alot more, even tho I may not be any hungier.  But I still don't eat as much as I used to when i wasn't on adderall

Dependence, Tolerance and Withdrawal

It is possible to build up a tolerance to amphetamines, which means the person using the drug needs to take larger doses to achieve the same effect. Over time, the body might come to depend on amphetamines just to function normally. The person craves the drug and their psychological dependence makes them panic if access is denied, even temporarily.

Withdrawal symptoms can include tiredness, panic attacks, crankiness, extreme hunger, depression and nightmares. Some people experience a pattern of "binge crash" characterized by using continuously for several days without sleep, followed by a period of heavy sleeping.-adderall.net
