I was sitting eating my lunch, which I'd carefully ordered at the college deli, when a thought occurred to me. Are there people out there who take this so seriously that they log even the calories transferred by utensils? I mean, the knife that was used to cut my sandwich had also cut lots of other things, and even though it was wiped off, I could see slight smears of things on the edges. I think that's something I could never do. Imagine the possible variations!

Sorry spirochete, that wasn't my intention... But sometimes improving your mindset involves the finding ability to laugh at yourself. I think if I didn't laugh at some of the crazy things I used to, I would have to cry instead!
Well yeah. I used to chew up food and spit it out. How ridiculous is that
There are certainly things I don't count. I don't count the cals in vitamins or medicines. I don't count the 1.5 calories in my occasional tic-tac. Honestly, that sort of thing isn't the problem. It's certainly not why I was overweight in the first place! It was eating junk and not exercising.
lmfao I never heard of that, breathing in the calories, next time ill hold my breath when i walk through there
