Much to everyone's surprise this year My beloved Diamondbacks are going to the play offs!!!  Still hoping that San Diego loses their next 2 games, We win ours and then we can be the National League western division champs too!!!

Congrats to the Arizona Diamondbacks for coming so far during what was suppose to be a "rebuilding year" -- looks like you've built a great team!!!!

I'm a Red Sox fan...and all I have to say is WHOO HOO!
Me too beachwalker!!  Can't wait to move back home to the Boston area in the spring, I can't get any games on TV here in TX and have resorted to signing up for the Globe to send me emails the morning after every game.
kindoflikesarah,

Here is the link to their site.  It has highlights and you can even follow their games while they are playing.

Go Sox!

although my Blue Jays are out of it, I had my enjoyment when we beat the RedSox 3 straight last week.  Best of luck to the Red Sox

Yea -- we are now NL Western Division Champs -- Thank you San Diego for losing your game today!!!

Sorry I can not talk baseball with you as my Padres are just one win away from the Playoffs.  I can not chear on the Diamonbacks for my husband would tar and feather me.

Right now he is still cussing out Hoffman for blowing the save.

I think my night may be ruined due to the Padres loss :)
Go Red Sox!
BoSox, baby!
You know I grew up in Arizona but have lived in Colorado the last eight years....so this series is killing me! I love that the Rockies have made this huge turn-around but still want to see the D-Backs do well. Since they have clinched can we please have one more Rockies win and Padres, Phillies, and Mets loss to complete the miracle turn-around??? I don't ask for much!

I'm with you cozonie!  I think the Rockies deserve to get into the playoffs as well.  Our TV announcers are also with you Rockie fans that Holliday deserves MVP this year.  Of course our Brandon Webb is going to win the Cy Young again and our manager Bob Melvin manager of the year. LOL

I'm glad I'm not a Mets fan today.  If it's the greatest regular season collapse in baseball history, then it's funny how their crosstown rivals--the Yankees--are the ignominious owners of the greatest post-season collapse (2004).

I'm not a fan of any team but I'm a New Yorker and I'll be rooting for the Yanks since the House that Ruth Built is being put out to pasture after next year, and I'm feeling kinda nostalgic about the whole thing.
I just wanted to say:

CUBS.
Melvin or Hurdle for Manager of the Year would either be great choices! And Tulowitzki for Rookie of the Year; that guy is a stud. Over 25 HR's for a rookie shortstop and so many incredible fielding plays it's impossible to keep track of them all. And now that the Padres lost and the Rockies won....wow! A one game playoff for the wildcard slot! What an incredible pennant race!!! WOO HOO!!! GO ROCKIES!!!!
By the way...that's a picture of me with my D-Backs cap at a Rockies game!
I thought 2004 was both the greatest comeback and the greatest collapse. :>
I'm a Yankee fan living in Boston Frown Anyway, for the time being, I'm just psyched about the 1 game playoff tonight (Rockies vs. Padres 7:30 ET)

Yay Cubbies!

I was in Wrigleyville on Friday night and it was crazy!  But I'm a White Sox fan, so I jump the bandwagon as a temporary inconvenience.

edit: double post

So I couldn't watch the last half of the 13th...and we scored 3 runs and won!!! That's what happens when you give up! Well I'm glad we won and now it's on to Philly! Good luck all; what a great finish in the NL. I watched Jon Stewart; he was funny talking about how the Mets ripped his heart out. Must suck to be a Mets fan right now.

I sort of switched back and forth between the ballgame and shows.  I really didn't know who I wanted to win.
