Tall Femme Weight Loss Buddy?
I've gained like 100 pounds in the past 6 years so I'm looking for a weight loss buddy who's in it for the long haul.
My stats:
Before = 6 feet tall; 190 lbs; sz L or 12 pants; XL or XXL shirt on the account of ridiculously large boobs.
Now = 6ft tall 298 lbs; sz XXL or 20 pants; sz XXXL shirt
Goal = 200 lbs; sz 14 pants XL top
My weight is carried in such a way that going by a BMI chart leasves me looking WAY too thin in my opinion. I'm of a muscular build, so if I can burn like 100 pounds of fat I'll be happy.
Currently on Weight Watchers, alli and working out at home until my mom starts baby sitting (and I can go to the gym).
I will be your buddy. We can do this together. I have noticed that when I am able to talk to someone and let my feelings out I am able to focus better on my dieting. I did weight watchers about 6 years ago and lost 65 pounds. It was the best I just cant seem to count points anymore and feel that counting calories gives me a clearer picture of the amount of calories I am consuming.
Where are you from? I am from NYC so you know we have the best pizza's which I absolutely love. And the best cheese cake which is also something I love and crave very often.. hahaha
Currently I am 158 pounds, 5'7 and want to be at 135. So if you want we can try to do this together. I am on almost everyday sometimes for a long period in time so we will definitely catch each other.
Yea, I'm looking for the same... I started working out about a month ago, it wasn't the first time that I tried to get in shape but I was definitely going to make it my last time...
I'm eating right, staying disciplined working out, and I'm on this site everyday trying to learn more and walk a straight line towards fitness...

Im 5'9 and currently 237lbs. I am looking to lose about 60lbs.
I lost 40 lbs last year got down to 200lbs. I was a size 14. I was happy, but i was obsessed with losing weight. I plateaued for a couple of months and lowered cals to a very low intake. I had slowed down my metabolism and started gaining weight if I even looked at food. So here I am now, I took the entire year to repair my metabolism so I can eat a normal amount and lose weight. I have come so far and learned so much in the process.

Hey guys. We can set a day each week to weigh in and see how everyone is doing if you want? We can also set small goals for us to accomplish, whatever the goal might be. Like this week I gave up soda and have been drinking more water. So far so good. I have also incorporated more veggies into my diet. Little steps I can't do everything at once. I am going to weigh myself tomorrow to see if I lost anything. I know last week was rough and I actually gained 2 pounds so lets see.

251.5, l thought the scale was lying!!! weighed myself like 3 times today. Was 251 before breakfast and 251.5 all day long. Was 257.5 last saturday, same scale!!!! only thing l did different this week is monitoring my carbs to try to regulate my blood sugar so l don't have to take any medication. My goal is to keep carbs at 40 to 60grams daily and some days l did less than 40gm. And l ate or tried to eat 6 meals a day, yayy me!!
Congrats Fab.. Way to go... Would you explain how do you calculate your carbs for the day? Do you read the labels on everything and just add it up on there or do you use CC for that? Keep up the good work. I didn't lose anything but I didn't gain either. So I am happy for that...
congrats for not gaining ajtimes, l read food labels even salad dressing label. You know the small individual packs of salad dressing? some of them have like 14grams of carbs and that is the same as half a cup of cooked pasta!!. So l read everything on the food label and decide which ones are worth it for me. The fat free things are the worst though, they almost always have the most grams of carbs for the quantity. The bbq sauce that came with my chicken at work today had high fructose corn syrup listed as the first ingredient, sugar as the second, l didnt even read further l tossed it. l read to see if the 'fat free' stuff has a lot of sugar and starches, if it does l choose 'reduced fat' anything and 'reduced sodium' anything. l eat my cottage cheese with applesauce, the 'unsweetened' kind which is still sweet but has no corn syrup. Goodluck and weight to go.....lol
Sorry for the late response. I typically login at work and sometimes at home. I live in Philly and work 9 - 5. Sitting at a desk all day after having a baby isn't so great. I actually lost more than my baby weight, but when I returned to work I began re-gaining it all. WTF?
So now I'm on my Alli + WW + Jillian Michaels + Yoga kick.

tomorrow is Saturday, are we weighing in? l hope l didnt gain any this week, this was my birthday week and you all know how that went, a lil bit of this and a lil bit of that, just like every lil bit helps every lil bit adds up too. Well we will find out tomorrow, who else is weighing in tomorrow?
I just got a fancy new scale. I gained two pounds but now I weigh 296.4
Things are going slow, but now that I'm home I can exercise more.
well good for you on the new scale, l had asked for a kitchen scale to weigh my foods and a pedometer for my birthday which last week. How are you resisting the food temptation this holiday season? hang in there, we are in this together.
