How Tall am I?

I'm 171cm and want to know how tall in feet I am. I keep getting 5"6 and 5"7 so I'm confused as to which one.

If you type 171=? inches into google you get exactly 67.322 inches, so you are 5 ft 7.322 inches. 

This works for anything you want to convert, I use it CONSTANTLY.

I feel even stupider, is it the same for AUS and US?

it's slightly racist. but i thought i'd leave it alone being an australian on an american board. but still.

It was just the reference to convicts and being inferior because of that, that I found slightly offensive. 

I'm pretty sure that was a historical joke made knowing full well that you are the blood of proper english people who dont break the law. 

Really, truly, it was a joke that had more to do with the metric system and whatever the hell you call the american system than who your daddy is.

I lived in australia for a while when I was young-- seemed to me that the country was proud of its by the bootstraps heritage-- to come from a gaol for england's rejects to a country of true people in its own right?  hmm, I guess my view as a child is different from the reality.  (plus it was the inch who had a convict daddy, not you).

Sorry thats ridiculous.  A truckload of more offensive, less funny, bs gets posted-- the inch with an inferiority complex was amusing. and in no way racist or otherwise in violation of the posting policies.

Eh, the deletion is no biggie.  I'd argue the mods on here actually have to appease anyone who decides to whine about anything, since we dare not treat anyone's offense, no matter how petty, as illegitimate ("Hey!  That guy said 'Hello everybody'!  He doesn't know me!  Why is he talking to me?!  I'm offended!  He's a stalker!  Delete that post!").  Gotta keep everyone happy since no one can agree on where to draw the line.
