Does 'target weight' = 'goal weight'?
I have my goal weight as 200 by January 1, 2008. If I just leave the date empty, CC+ comes up with a date of December 7, 2007. I understand all of this... but on my main page the calorie coach says my 'target weight' is expected to be reached on like Feb 02, 2008. How do I find out what this 'target weight' is?
If I understand it correctly, the calorie coach is using the weight you plugged in as your goal weight, but the reason the date is different is due to the weight you've been logging. If you're not losing as fast as you'd need to in order to reach your goal by whatever date it picked in the beginning, it will move further back, but if you're doing better than expected, it will move closer. (I think if you leave the goal date blank, it assumes a pound a week, so if you lose less than that, your calorie coach date will be further away than the goal date.)
My calorie coach date started off saying late January, then crept as far as April for a while, then went back to February, and now it's back to late January.
Mine too Lauren. Mine has moved from late Aug 2008, through September, up to almost October (I had acouple of weeks where I didn't lose any, then a week where I gained a pound,) but now it is back to September 3.
