Tartar Sauce*** Recipe

Submitted by christinavt

Makes 6 1/2 servings

Adapted from Tartar Sauce I on allrecipes.com. Much better scores on fat and calories than mayonnaise-based Hellman's regular tartar sauce with half the calories. Makes 6 1/2 tablespoons, enough for an 18-ounce box of fish tenders. Original Miracle Whip, sweet pickle relish, minced onion, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste cvt

Ingredients
1/3 cup Original Miracle Whip (4027)
1 teaspoon sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon minced dehydrated onion (11284)
2 teaspoons lemon juice (optional)
Directions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, and minced onion. Stir in lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  2. It is better if prepared several hours before you will be using it, but it can be used immediately. Store for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
