im thinking of getting a tattoo now! what tatties do you all have?

Black tribal butterfly, lower back - Ivy vines with the Letter "V" in the middle, upper back - Moon inside a Sun surronded by stars, upper right thigh - Bettyboop carrying the Domincan Flag, upper left shoulder and bf's name on music notes, foot.

It's addicting!

I've got 8.  The entire length of my right leg is birds, tribal and flowers.  I've got a butterfly.  A scene with a palm tree and waves, a hummingbird, a collar of roses and a heart on my chest.

Love them,  it is a bit addictive.

When I lose some weight I want to get the chinese character for adventure or passion on my wrist.

i intend to get a koi fish turning into a dragon.

in buddhist legend (i'm a buddhist), if the koi fish swims upstreem long enough, it turns into a dragon.... an analogy for struggle and overcoming.... and i think that i'm both beautiful and fierce at the same time....

I've got two...one on my left back shoulder, the other on my ankle.  I designed the ankle one and plan on having it expanded to go around the entire ankle.

They are addicting.  You'll love it!

I've only got one....lower back....blue shooting star pattern....it's really cool. 

I call it my "Hollywood Blvd Souviner"....as that's where I got it :)

I have 4 and want at least one more.  I got a frog on my outer right ankle, then a funky black tribal design on the top of my right foot, then a full anklet of dancing people on my left side, and then back to the inner right, I got a native turtle.  The last one I want is an amazing abstract dragonfly that I want large and in charge in the centre of my back.  THAT is my present to myself when I reach my goal weight!! :)

I have a band logo (a dove) on the top of my right foot, some lame stars on my ankle (I was 18 and just hhhhaaad to get something) and I have two swallows on my chest that I'm working on turning into a full chest piece.

I have a dolphin in water on my left upper arm,  a honda symbol with a butterfly sitting on it on my right shoulderblade (hubby has the same minus the butterfly...it was there before the honda symbol) , I have three dolphins on my lowerback in a circle coloured in my brother, sister and my birthstones and i have'with you i love to live' on my left calf and 'with you i'm willing to die' on my right calf written in latin.

Oh and I am planing on at least six more hee hee they are VERY addictive.

I just have one little one (about the size of a half dollar) on the lower right hand side of my back. It's a star shape with the American Flag pattern in it and my husband's initals above it.

I always swore i would never get one, but my old roomie talked me into it. My husband is in the USMC and i'm one of the most patriotic people on the planet and that will never change so i figured one would be ok!  I doubt i'll get any  more though. LOL

I have a medium-sized vines and roses tattoo on my left shoulder, I love it soooo much, it's a part of me.. you can see it in this picture.

That was taken last year when it was freshly done and I was 30 lbs heavier, it hasn't deformed at all while I lost weight because it was already in a non-fatty part of my body.

I have "the Joker" on my right arm.  Idential to the one off of the "BEE" playing cards.

I have several. 

I've got my kids' name and birthdates with their zodiac symbols going around my right ankle.  And I have a scorpion on the back of my left ankle and a dragonfly on the front of my left ankle with these kind of swirly lines connecting on each side to make it go all he way around.  And I have a bracelet of flowers going all the way around my left wrist (underneath my watch).  And I have The Emerald City (from The Wizard of Oz) on my lower back.  And I have a seahorse on my left shoulder blade.

I like them all except the seahorse.  I either want it covered up or removed.  My husband is a tatto artist at his 2nd job/hobby, so I will probably get him to transform the seahorse into something else.

As others have said, tattoos are definitly addictive.  The first one I got was the scorpion, and it's about the size of a half-dollar.  Next was my first daughter's name & birthdate.  Then The Emerald City, and on and on.  I said when I got the first one that I wouldn't ever want more.  I guess I was wrong.   LOL

i think all of mine are on display in my gallery.  i have some on my back, one on my right shoulder, and a band around my left arm.  then a couple piercings, and i may end up getting one more tatt at some point. :)

a blue and black naughtical star with a little black star outline at each point (left arm - got it when i was 16),
a purple hawaiian flower (right arm got at 18)
and mine and my hubby's initials on my back (got at 17) and he has the same.

I get an urge to get one about every 6 months.. i want to get a half sleeve done on my left arm, but not till i've lost the weight i want or my skin will shrink and it will look just awful!

I used to have 9 piercings (both lobes, left twice, top right ear 3 times, left nostril, left side of lip, right tragus) but now i just have 3 (both lobes and right tragus).

I can't take pain at all and i'm terrified to the point of panic attacks of needles... but tatts are just worth it haha

many many many more to come. next will be work on my sugar skull, some stuff next to it. then finish both sleeves, get my chest piece, get my other foot done, get both calves done, both thighs, & full back piece!

WOW Veganlady!  That's awesome.  I always loved tatoos, but pretty short on cash to do it.  I have two though.  I bluebird with a rose on my ankle and a tiger on my lower back.  I have designed a few tattoos too, one of my friends actually had it done on her lower back (but she blew it up x10 LOL).  Actually, if you count homemade tattoos, I have three, I used nail polish to make an egyptian eye on the inside of my ankle when I was 12.  Stupid kids. LOL

Chain of geckos intertwined on my right ankle. Three of us got drunk in college and made a pact to get a tattoo. The other got it so i had to get it too. Not bad though. Thinking of getting one on my arm if i reach my weight goal.
