Tattoo Ideas! Who doesn't love helping others with tattoo ideas....

So my friend is getting a tattoo today, and since I have been wanting one for a long time... I am thinking of getting another one myself. I was thinking something small on my foot, I have really pretty feet and would like to have one there.... I am thinking a small bird would be good, since I just graduated from college and I am going to spread my wings and fly so to speak... cute right? Any other ideas? Any type of birds anyone has ideas of would be great!!

My only advice is this:  Tattoos are permanent...they should be something that mean something to you truely inside and out.  They shouldn't be a spur of the moment thing.

Ask yourself...if your friend wasn't getting tattooed, would you go by yourself and do it?  If so, then maybe this is the tattoo you want...but I always advise against spur of the moment tattoo decisions.  Just my 2cents.

I appreciate the advice, but I have 3 tattoos already and am completely happy with them, I am not one to just get something I think looks cool, I have been thinking about this for a while.

I love the bird idea, I've been thinking about getting a bird that looks like its done like a sketch in heavy black ink.  I have three also (but it forms one piece)!  Good luck getting one on your foot, I personally can't stand people touching my feet I'd lose it. 

I like the bird too!  I've been putting off getting my reward-tattoo (for reaching my goal weight!!) for several months until I figured out what I wanted.  I also knew I wanted it on my foot, just not what it should be.  I finally came up with it:  a cheetah.  They've always been my favorite animal, and mean a lot to me on a personal level.  Plus, I'm a runner, and love the symbolism that the fastest land animal on my foot would provide.

I think a swift would be a wonderful bird to get.  They're one of the fastest birds, and have a lovely wingspan/silhouette that would lend to making a tattoo.

Ya, I was actually putting off getting a really big tat on my side until I lost some weight especially in the spot I want it in. But, I really want one, we will see if it happens today, I am going with a hummingbird I think.

I don't listen to opinions when it comes to tattoos.

hi a year ago my dad died at 46 he always thought it would be cute to get something tiny at the top of my ear well when he died the next day i went and got a tiny foot tattoo there . his nickname was Foot . he was always in my ear with advice i am glad i got that one . every where oi go people are always asking what it satnds for and how cute it is .it makes me think of him ............it doesn't really hurt there either not as bad as getting it peirced. good luck with yours .
