Tattoos! I want to meet those of you that have them;)

Tattoos are part of my life now! My fiance is a great tattoo artist, he and I work for a great tattoo artist (Joshua Carlton).  (I also work for his wife ;)).  And I have tattoos and piercings....would like to meet others who have a passion for tattoos and piercings......And I would like to see good work from artists!.....

Plus, I want to have friends on here, and people with good work are my kinda people lol.

I have 2 tatts. I have a butterfly and a lily on my lower back representing my twin daughters. And then I have a quote with stars around it between my shoulder blades.

i have three now... looking to get more.

on my lower back (and no, not tramp stamp style) i have a dia de los muertos skull above 5 stars with halos (for my passed friends and family)

the inside of wrist i have a small red heart

and on my right hip i have a bird i drew (its abstract-like a indian/arabic henna style)

im looking to make the stars and skull into a more complete peice, but that will have to wait until i get more money...

Its really annoying how people keep saying that they have one on their lower back but its not a "tramp stamp".....I have one in the "tramp stamp" area representing my twin little girls. Does that make me a tramp now? Nothing wrong with lower back tattoos. How about we respect each other.

word.  remember when that area was popular?  it has nothing to do with "trampiness" but more of a preference of location, esp. if you have a job where you're required to hide tattoos, or if that's just the area where you want it done. 

this is a website designed to be uplifting and helpful, not degrading or used to berate someone's preferences.  R-E-S-P-E-C-T should definitely be the underlying factor for all posts.

I have 2 tats... a butterfly on my ankle and a flower with some stars on my foot. Im looking to get 2 more (to represent my son & daughter) like sometime in the near future. I have 7 piercings... 6 in my ear (reg., cartilage, & tragus piercings) and I have my navel peirced. I had my tongue pierced for 3 yrs but took it out when I started working in an office setting and it closed after a few months.

like i said before i have 9 tats. here are what they are.

girly skull and cross bones on lower neck, heart with tribal says daddy's girl right sholder blade, purple rose left upper arm, celtic cross breast plate, tiny star right hip, small shamrock right thigh, :P (litteraly) right ancle, HAPPY NOODLE BOY on top left foot, sister's name in japanese with angel wings and horns on lower back.

the whole tramp stamp crap is just that. someone decided to call it that because a lot of "slutty" girls were getting tats there when it was really popular. it would still be a really popular spot for tats on women if it werent for the stigma on it now. like Bee said its all about preferance and its easily hidden.

whay do people have to ruin things for others?

 thanks britt, tamaraannjones you kinda need to think twice about making statements like tramp stamp when talking about tats...as you said you have 4 each with a reason as to why....and yes i do have a "tramp stamp" and to make it even gaudy its a butterfly, got it when i was 18 cos after alot of crap that happened to me i felt that that period of my life was over and i had grown as aperson...so the butterfly represented rebirth to me,the location was so that it was easily hidden as i did some modelling and it was the only area i was allowed to tattoo,bar my nether regions and i wasnt quite that brave!!

anyhoo i got a second not too long ago around my belly button...merely because i loved the design and it was my rward for losing aswell as a motivation to keep the weight off so i could wear belly tops...flippant perhaps but i love it...afterall isnt that whats it all about hey...afterall we all have to live with it...as for piercings..very boring,two in each ear and belly button...contemplating a double piercing for my tongue but im afraid of the pain...is it really as sore as they say??on the otherhand it might help stay below my calorie intake for a few days!!!lolhow much calories can cup a soup have right??!!

thats awesome!...my tattoos have meaning too.....one is a candle with roses that says "light my way"...it was done during a hard time in my life (my dad was doing hard drugs, I moved into a teachers house, and my parents lost their home I grew up in).....it is something to look at when I am down and push me forward....then I have a fancy film roll that is for a friend of mine that died....we used to be really close, but before he died we drifted apart, and the only memories I had of him were of all the pictures I used to take of him....plus, I love photography....

it should be easy to put back in...if anything, you might have to use a taper....

me, I have my vertical labret and conchs and ears very slightly stretched

 I don't want to offend anyone...but yeah, I agree.....if it is on your lower back, it can be referred to as a tramp stamp, but it doesn't mean you are a tramp....people just like it there....

 yeah, tongues close fast; your tongue is the fastest healing thing on your body I think ;P

 its ok....I think everyone has to make it clear that it is not one, because they don't want anyone to think they are tramps....but yes, I think it is just a placement name......

and your tattoos sound cool....especially the purple rose and noodle boy lol
