Tattoos! I want to meet those of you that have them;)

Tattoos are part of my life now! My fiance is a great tattoo artist, he and I work for a great tattoo artist (Joshua Carlton).  (I also work for his wife ;)).  And I have tattoos and piercings....would like to meet others who have a passion for tattoos and piercings......And I would like to see good work from artists!.....

Plus, I want to have friends on here, and people with good work are my kinda people lol.

 thanks britt, tamaraannjones you kinda need to think twice about making statements like tramp stamp when talking about tats...as you said you have 4 each with a reason as to why....and yes i do have a "tramp stamp" and to make it even gaudy its a butterfly, got it when i was 18 cos after alot of crap that happened to me i felt that that period of my life was over and i had grown as aperson...so the butterfly represented rebirth to me,the location was so that it was easily hidden as i did some modelling and it was the only area i was allowed to tattoo,bar my nether regions and i wasnt quite that brave!!

anyhoo i got a second not too long ago around my belly button...merely because i loved the design and it was my rward for losing aswell as a motivation to keep the weight off so i could wear belly tops...flippant perhaps but i love it...afterall isnt that whats it all about hey...afterall we all have to live with it...as for piercings..very boring,two in each ear and belly button...contemplating a double piercing for my tongue but im afraid of the pain...is it really as sore as they say??on the otherhand it might help stay below my calorie intake for a few days!!!lolhow much calories can cup a soup have right??!!

 sorry, but I don't remember referring to tramp stamps?.....I don't call tattoos that anytime.....

but from what I know of, yes the tongue is sore for a while and swells, but just put ice in your mouth and it helps; don't move the ice around though.....but hey, it can't be any worse than the tongue splitting I watched lol...

and if you get progresso soup, it is pretty low in calories lol

i have 12 tats all together. my biggest piece being a trail of different size and color stars from the the front of my right shoulder to the mid of my back. its very colorful and even thou iv had it for 6 years, everyday i look at it i love it more and more. :)

ive had a whole realm of piercings. double lip rings on the left side, double eyebrow on the right side, ear cartlidge, rook, industrial, lobes. but some grew out and i grew out of the rest. all i have left are my favorites, my rook and double lip. :)

if i had money, id be a living piece of art. :)

I have 20 tattoos including... bows on the backs of my thighs; betty page pin-up on my left leg; butterflies on my: hips, back, neck, shoulders, wrists, and ankles; floral work on my back and ankles; music notes/symbols on my wrists; star on my back; fairy on my shoulder; and (an ugly, desperately in need of a cover-up) band tattoo on my back (the band ween...from when i was in vegas... what happened in vegas unfortunately traveled with me that time!)

I love tattoos and am planning on getting lots more!  but they sure are an expensive hobby ;)

i got 6  underdog on my right arm, a heart with a cross on my left, a dancing bear in michigan hockey jersey on left calf, a michigan football helmet on my right calf, a graveyard on left shoulder and the best of all Kassie the pink dragon from dragon tales holding three balloons the two outer ones have my last name split between them and the middle is a heart with tigger,sylvester,chilly willy, goofy, and eeyore on the right side of my back

I have the sublime sun in the middle of my back and I'm getting the Che Guevara portrait on my chest wrapping around my shoulder in the front, or on my ribs if I hit my goal weight.

I have 3 tattoos:

One I got on my 25th birthday - the exact same as Red xiii's (on his left arm) - its a Final Fantasy game - Final Fantasy 7 to be exact

The other 2 I got on my 27th birthday (they are a month old now) - and they are traditional rose tattoos with red spiderwebs in the crooks of my arms (where it bends) ya - ouchies...

I have 3 piercings besides my ears - Navel and 2 in the nether regions. I like ear piercings and the new chest and back studs but not huge on the face piercings - dunno why it just bothers me to see people with bull rings and such lol...

My new addiction for sure is tattoos though! ;)

 ok, now that is awesome! you sound like someone I could relate too.....what other tattoos do you have?....

I have my conches and vertical labret, and two tattoos....I love tattoos! I am just a big baby though lol

 I love tradional tattoos!...my fiance is great at tradional roses and script!...and I have my sternum and madison at one time, but they rejected....I like surface piercings too ;)

I'm currently at 6 tattoos but by the time i am done i will probably be covered.  you can see 3 of them on http://checkoutmyink.com/profile/siegoris  My most recent one i got while i was in Denmark a year ago, it's a pair of dragons on my left arm, i have a hop vine on my right thigh from a brewery trip to Belgium, and the rest are from my parents home, college and my house.

the next ones i currently have planned are, the litany against fear on the inside of my right arm, a brand on the back just below a shirt collar (symbol is one i created) and a whole slew of quotes on the right arm.

i currently have 2, but i want a few  like six more... i got my first one on my arm when i was 16, its my name and my sign (gemini)...and it's a classic example of knowing what you want when you go get a tattoo, or you will walk out with anything...like your own name lmao...my second is a treble clef with hearts n stars around it on my chest, for my next i want something behind my ear on on the back of my neck

I don't have any tattoos at the moment, but I do have my belly button pierced.  I actually considered doing tattoo work for awhile, but didn't think anyone would want a tattoo from someone who didn't have any ;) I have drawn a few tattoos for friends over the years; that was a good experience.  I would probably get one one day - I just haven't come up with anything I would want on my body forever yet.  :)

I have four tats. One chinese dragon on my left arm, a yin-yang of two dragons killing each other on my right arm with kanji (that says dragon), a larger dragon with wings breathing fire and the word fire in tibetan in his tail all done with only an outline needle to get the detail I wanted on my left leg, and three kanji on my right leg that say partner, lover, friend. I know your thinking, wow that's a lot of dragons, but they stand for power, wisdom, strength, courage, and protection. So, I always just had a thing for them and I sport different style of dragon, so it works out to make it interesting.

I only have my tongue pierced because I am allergic to basically all metals, and the acrylic tongue ring is the easiest to take care of. Never wanted to pierce anything else.

the whole tramp stamp crap is just that. someone decided to call it that because a lot of "slutty" girls were getting tats there when it was really popular. it would still be a really popular spot for tats on women if it werent for the stigma on it now. like Bee said its all about preferance and its easily hidden.

 its ok....I think everyone has to make it clear that it is not one, because they don't want anyone to think they are tramps....but yes, I think it is just a placement name......

I have three. A red dragon & sword on my back, upper right shoulder; the eye of horus in a sun on my left arm near the shoulder; an ankh near my left wrist.

I HAVE ONE TAT BUT AM HOPING TO GET MORE DONE AS FOR PIERCINGS I HAD MY LIP, BOTH BROWS,TONGUE,NOSE, NAVEL, BOTH NIPPLES AND MY ????? I have two.. one on back of my right shoulder (cherub on a crecesnt moon) and a butterfly tat on my lower back, only ears pierced for now.. belly button soon :) am planning to get another tat for my 30lb weight loss gift! yay me

Well technically I have 3 tattoos, but 2 of them are together so just looks like 1.

I got my first tattoo when I was 18 and I designed it myself, it is a pair of wings over the middle of my shoulder blades and is in a sort of henna / indian style. My second tattoo was of a lizard on my right side up my ribcage, unfortunately this one wasn't done to the greatest standard so when I got my third tattoo I asked the artist to improve it. My third tattoo is of 2 lilies, one on my lower back to the left and one slightly higher up to the right, these are joined by some vines which go up to where the lizard is so he is now sat on one of the leaves.

No piercings, not really my thing but tattoos I love!

I only have one tattoo so far but I definately plan on getting more! For our wedding my husband bought me my tatoo, it's on the top of my foot, it's a moon with a flower. I has really special meaning to me and I love it so much. I want my husband to get one but he can't decide what he wants. lol! I want him to know how awesome it is! I have my ears and belly button pierced, wanted to do my nose but my husband vito'd that.

I luv tats I have a huge one on my right calf from my knee all the way to my big toe. It is a galaxy of shooting stars in black and white only and my own design! I am goin to extend it to my hip then across my back to my left shoulder eventually. It is awsome!!!
