Tattoos! I want to meet those of you that have them;)

Tattoos are part of my life now! My fiance is a great tattoo artist, he and I work for a great tattoo artist (Joshua Carlton).  (I also work for his wife ;)).  And I have tattoos and piercings....would like to meet others who have a passion for tattoos and piercings......And I would like to see good work from artists!.....

Plus, I want to have friends on here, and people with good work are my kinda people lol.

I have cartoon sheep that are on fire on my right calf (don't ask), swallows on the top of my feet,  skull and lightning bolts (Death By Stereo band logo), and a tramp stamp on my lower back :P I have a vertical labret, a lip ring on the right side, my earlobes, conch, and my belly button pierced. I used to have my eyebrow, septum, and nipples pierced, but I took them out.

i have a set of wings on my back that i just got. i didn't know that it was going to hurt so much. wah wah wah

I have one, though I am looking to get more.  Mine is the silhouette of a clarinet and a treble clef together on my right hip. 

I have two kanji symbols.  One is very meaningful to me, one is not.  The symbol is special to me, but the meaning and feelings behind it left long ago.  I am planning on getting a third for my graduate school graduation.  I am planning on getting a lotus, or om (aum) symbol because yoga has become a very spiritual part of my life.  I didn't think they hurt too much, but I did pass out while getting my first one!  I blame it on being 18 and nervous!

I accidentally found out that my girlfriend is getting me another midnight session with Jeff on my sleeve for my birthday (11-19). I'm pretty pumped =D

It is a cross of my own design, kind of celtic looking because at the apex of the cross is the infinity symbol & vines make a circle around that. Under the cross is the phrase Deo Duce Pugno. It's Latin and means "With God as My Leader I Fight". My second & MUCH more painful tattoo(the one on my neck didn't hurt at all) is on my lower back. Clouds with sun rays shining through to a blue dove flying with "John 14:26" at the bottom and a beautiful scrolling design under that. This one has color in it while the first one is classic black shading. I like the classic look better so far anyway lol. I know the places I want to get other just haven't chosen what I want yet .

 hope this doesnt sounds bad, but I think it is awesome that you have religious inspired tattoos yet have tattoos!....my family is sorta religious which made them hate tattoos! now they see it as an art form after I got some though ;p

 I love suicide girls! apnea and lithiumpicnic are the whole reason I want to become a photographer; I want to take female erotica nudes! lol....

other companies might be better though unless sg rules have changed....they are very stricted on your creative outlet

 sounds cool man!....and the piercings don't sound bad either...ever had any surface piercings then?....my fiances ears are 2 and a half right now....

I have 11 tattoos and only about 3 of which are small. :) Two on the tops of my feet (Black widow spider/web on left, lotus and water on right), on my left leg i have an angel that goes from my ankle to my knee, and on the inside of that leg a memorial clover with writing, then on my right leg i have a full underwater half-leg piece, lower back i have tribal wings, upper back is all tribal from shoulder to shoulder, leopard print going down both sides of my neck, the angus beef branding on my butt (lol), and now i have a japanese half-sleeve on my left arm and then i have Writing on the inside of my right wrist. :)

Funny thing is, the whole reason why I started this whole counting calories/working out thing in the first place is so I could get another tattoo lol Always wanted one on my stomach but.. not with this body at the moment lol

Although i've only been doing this for like 4 days now and I haven't weighed myself yet, I do notice that my skin looks much healthier from all the water i've been drinking. At least one plus so far! :)

 hey! I have my veritcal labret, lobes stretched VERY little and vertical conches pierced!  I used to have my sternum and madison too....

 oh, that sounds nice to me....I used to play the clarinet and obviously love music then lol

I have been in the chair 4 times for tats, although 3 of the 4 were working on the same one. I have a fairy sitting on a moon on my lower back (in the tramp stamp area, but I don't like when people say that is what it is ) The first two times were doing the outline and then coloring of that one. I couldn't get it done all at once because the artist wasn't very good so he messed up the outline a lot. Luckily, when I went back, the owner of the shop was able to fix it and do the coloring which is great! Then about two years later a friend of mine was apprenticing and wanted to practice so I had him add 5 stars around the fairy.

My second tat is on the top of my foot, it is kind of a heart/cross design, and symbolizes life, love and loyalty. My mom got a matching one on her back.

I want to get a bunch more! My next one will either be a celtic knot on the inside of my wrist, or a treble and bass clef on the back of my neck. I want to get a bunch more, I love it!!

I'm scared to get the one on my wrist because I am afraid it's going to hurt! Although everyone said my foot would hurt, but it wasn't that bad. I would like to get one on my other foot because I love the way it looks.

i currently have 2 tattoos

...one is a heart with the breast cancer ribbon wrapped around it on my left hip

..and the other is a large phoenix on my back with yellow zinnias around the bottom...that one took about 6 hours to finish ( i went back a second time to finish it)

i want one on my foot eventually..but i have to forget how bad the one on my back hurt first lol

Wow I haven't been on here in a long time. Months later, oh well I'll respond anyway maybe someone's reading it. I got my Bruce Campbell done by Christian at Lovecraft tattoo in ct. He did an awesome job and I plan on going back to him for my "evil Ash" version from Army of Darkness of course. My friend Daria has been going to him for years, she is just covered in beautiful tattoos. Any CT ppl on here I recommend the place, and christian

I have five tattoos.  First on my right hip is a dolphin jumping out of water with the sunsetting behind it (got this one in Santa Maria, CA), second on my left shoulder blad is a dolphin swimming around a moon with three stars in the background (got this one at Pismo Beach, CA), third on my left foot is my zodiac in waves of water inside a celtic circle (got this one in Colorado Springs, CO), fourth on my right ankle is a hummingbird with a long tail that wraps around the front of my leg (got this one in Colorado Springs, CO), fifth on my lower back (aka the "tramp stamp" as some people like to call it) is a black and white tribal I found on the internet.  Soon I will have my son's foot print, a wooden cross with wings, and a fairy sitting on the moon.  My belly button is pierced and I used to have a piercing in my hood but had it removed when I was preggo with my son.  I hope to get it back sometime soon.
