What's your favorite tea flavor and its manufacturer?

Are there no English people posting in this thread!? I need to hear some love for a big mug of Tetleys or PG Tips with milk and a hobnob!

I LOVE green and white tea of any kind.  I get my tea in loose leaves from an international food store near my apartment.  It comes with a label from the store, so I have no idea who actually manufactures the tea.  In any case, I also love tea flowers, but they are darn expensive.

Sun tea made with (luzianne tea bag) with equal and lots of ice .

Maeda-en gyokuro loose leaf green tea....just leaves and hot water, yummy.

I love Darjeeling, Assam and Ceylon tea...all with milk.

I drink Celestial Seasons Cinnamon Apple tea and Lipton's Vanilla Caramel Truffle tea, so yummy!

Haha. Is anyone here from the United Kingdom?
Because none of these teas sound familiar.

PG tips! Earl Grey!

I do like Lipton tea though, regular teabags and of course, the canned soft drink haha.

Earl Grey really is great though.

 Haha :)

But it's either a jammy dodger or custard cream for me!

I became a Green Tea freak a year ago. Since I have expanded my tea favorites.

-At home I have Twinings English Breakfast in the morning and 3-5 cups of Twinings Green Tea during the day. Sometimes Stash Tea.

-On the road when available I have Starbuck's Tazo China Green Tips or Zen Green Teas.  Dunkin Donuts carries a basic Green Tea as well.

-I have found places that have Japanese Gun Powder tea as well which is very good.

Since starting on Green Tea a year ago based on the positive news about its benefits I have completely stopped coffee. Can't scientifically say if the benefits are real but combined with a lifestyle change I dropped 50lbs, BP came way down, Cholesterol returned to normal, and I am rarely hungry any more. So at 55yo I expect to be a tea drinker for the rest of my life.

yeah, both black tea and white tea also have several health benefits.

Ginger root tea - I was told in a weight management workshop that it can boost metabolism 20%. I'm gonna try it...

Cool beans Mike T. Congrats on weight loss! I have heard there are good benefits from green tea.

Alright! I thought I was the only one that said "cool beans"! I am not alone.

Mike T, that is awesome weight loss. Sounds like you are doing it the healthy way!

Not sure where you live, but in Houston, tea shops are popping up all over. The House of Te' was destroyed in the last hurricane, but last I heard was expecting to re-open. They were a rather eclectic place to go - English and Japanese with a Tango night!

In the morning, Nestle Green Tea :)

In the evening, Norganic Peppermint Tea.

And sometimes after dinner, Black Adder Licorice Tea! YUM.

OMG! I fell in LOVE with the smokey taste of Lapsang Souchong and am addicted now! Russian caravan is a close second in flavor.

At first taste I d thought yuck! But it grows on you and nothing else tastes as sophistacated and delicious now.

AND... there is NOTHING like a hot scone with clotted cream and lemon curd, well maybe strawberry jam and an oatie to go with that tea (Hey there to dannon!

what's a jammy dodger sounds yummy

yes, what exactly is a jammy dodger?

I will have to re-motivate to try Lapsang Souchong again. I got some once from teavanna and had a hard time getting past the aroma which I was not drawn to. The taste was ok, but I found myself putting it in a zip lock bag so I could not smell it!

Have not had Russian caravan. Is that the one you like with lemon curd and a scone? I do have lemon curd in the fridge.....

Jackson's of Piccadilly's Earl Grey --and they stopped making it. It was bought out by Twining's.

My fiance bought me a case while some was still lingering. When it's gone...it's gone. *Sob*

I enjoy teas from Harney and Sons, a Connecticut tea blender.  Malachai McCormic is great english style good cuppa, and winter time pick me up  treat is Hot Cinnamon Spice.  I order cans of loose tea from time to time, and have rec'd tea as special gifts.

YORKSHIRE TEA!!!!! WHITE NO SUGAR.

Far superior to all those sugary so-called 'tea' drinks everyone talking about ;-)

A jammy dodger is a British biscuit - basically 2 round biscuits sandwhiched together with strawberry jam, with a hole in the top biscuit for no apparent reason other than to lick the jam with or sitck you finger in lol.

I however think the best biscuit for dunking has to be McVities Caramel Chocolate Digestives (they are my downfall, ya cant just have 1 or 2...) which when ducked soak up the tea but stay held together by the chewy caramel - droooooool.....
