Tea suggestions you can buy in the UK or on Internet

I love tea and looking for different ones. (herbal or green teas) I'm not a great lover of fruit teas, but does anyone have any suggestions for me, that also may have a health benefit. (see title for where I can buy)

Whittards in the UK have a great selection of various types of tea.

I found a really great cinnamon rose tea on this website, Talbott Teas. The prices are okay, but the quality is awesome. Take a look around, you might see something that interests you.

Ooooh I know I know! Check out www.teavana.com they have the BEST teas ever! So many varieties and they are fresh never packaged and they have so many health benefits depending on the variety you get. I promise you'll love it!

i agree with Whittards - i love it in there.. but honestly most supermarkets do a really good selection? i get all my tea from the supermarket, i love green tea and also green tea with other flavours added (usually fruits though). chamomile is nice, chamomile and spearmint i love at the moment. Holland & Barrett do some good teas too.

Thankyou all very much

www.yogitea.com has an amazing selection of green teas. and they are so good. i would recommend it to anyone =)

Have you tried your local supermarkets? Sainsbury's stocks a few different green teas (own brand and well known brands like Whittard, Twinings, etc). I like the green tea with lemon and cranberry -- I think one's Twinings and one's Sainsbury's own.

I love Whittards cos they do Teas that comes in leaves instead of teabags, plus you can have a good whiff of them before you buy. However not so good if you running low in the pennies department like me.

Being Chinese, I guess I am use to drinking Jasmine tea and other natual teas however can be difficult to buy, but most of your general supermarkets stock them in the form of tea bags. I like the Morrison's own brand Green tea with Jasmine. Simple but nice

Also you could try Chinese supermarkets or any other Asian oriented stores, they normally sell Tea especially in the leaves form.

In South Africa we have Rooibos (means red bush) tea, it is as popular as normal tea here. I am not sure how available it is in the UK but maybe have a look out for it?

It's very healthy full of anti oxidants, no caffine of course, people even give it to babies!

Can you get ginger root and lemons or limes?  Chop some ginger root and a lime/lemon into a glass teapot and heat until you're ready to drink it.  Tastes great, no calories to speak of and the ginger has great properties to help your circulatory and immune systems while the vitamin C is just good for you.

Brands: Twinings are good all-rounders. Pukka teas are delightful if you want something different and are willing to pay a bit extra. Dr. Stuart's, similarly, but stick to his bogstandard teas - I have no doubt his "Slim Plus" and all that rubbish are just that. Rubbish. ;\ There's also nothing wrong with Tetley, Typhoo, PG and so on, but Twinings have never done me wrong!

Types: Peppermint, fennel, nettle, ginger, green (with a hint of lemon and it's all the better), roobios... ahh, so many!

Taylors of Harrogate green is The Best Green Tea. Anything by Ito En is also good

Talbott Teas is absolutely amazing.  The founder made six South African Teas for Oprah, one is only sold at The Oprah Store in Chicago.  It is really the best tea I have ever tasted.  Plus, it's a great gift item.  The packaging is so cool.
