B's been after me to take one for AGES.  I really want to actually.

Honestly, I want to take a kick boxing class too.  It just looks so fun.  I bet it's an awesome way to get out frustration and all that after a rough week.  A friend of mine used to take one and she said it was a fantastic workout.

Kickboxing IS a great workout.  I'm just too klutzy to feel comfortable in those classes :)

That's a good idea, Eddie... N says that he does want to get into better shape, that's a great way to do it.

Oh, I'm definitely a klutz, but I want to take one bad enough that I think I can handle looking like a dork for a while :)

OH I would love to take kickboxing, but I'm sure I would look like a complete idiot. I might try it anyway :)

Karate will teach you more, and give you a better workout than kickboxing....Just my opinion.  we have students from 3 yrs. old (so cute) to 87...

Yeah, I should just try it anyway!  Who cares if I look like a dork?

We had Hailey in Tae Kwon Do when she was 4, she loved it, but she wasn't a very good listener then. We'll probably get her back into it soon though

ok, so I'm doing this painting for a friend... it's an angel, she wants to give it to her dad for his hospital room (he's got brain cancer and is expected to last another year or two)

I was searching the web for a bit of inspiration (not to copy directly, obviously, I just like to look at stuff for ideas).  Anyway, I came across a website where a woman is seriously tearing apart people who believe in any kind of religion or god or anything.  She's saying it's idiotic and only weak-minded imbiciles would consider dedicating their lives to something like that... blah blah blah.  I know that there are plenty of religious people who do the same thing to people who don't believe.  My question is: Why do people always seem to forget that live and let live goes both ways?  It doesn't mean that people should leave you alone with your beliefs so you can shred others for theirs.

Ok, sorry, just needed to vent :)

I should add that I'm not overly religious, I don't like most organized religions, but I do believe in God.  I'm much more of the "believe what you want, just don't try to force everyone to think like you" school.  I know some of you know that already, but not sure if everyone does.

listen...don't worry about looking like a dork...my first day in Karate...I couldn't see past my hands because I almost blacked out from exhaustion.  now...two years later...I kick every ones ass...even black belts...lol....so everyone starts somewhere...

 Small-mindedness is a trait I absolutely abhor.

Sorry, didn't mean to kill it with my rant!  :)  Feel free to continue on another topic.  Wasn't so much posing a question for discussion as just venting :)

I just realized that my abhorrence of small-mindedness is kinda hypocritical.  Oh well.  :)

Ha, a bit I suppose... but you and I share that one.

I don't like the imposition of others' morals or mores on me.

keep your laws off my body!

paws or laws?

Ha!  Paws are just fine.  I'm a Puma, after all.

i agree that everyone has the right to believe what they believe. what really, seriously irks me though is people who use their "faith" as a way to deny blantant scientific fact because it doesn't fit their faith, and then brain wash their children with it.

*grumbles about recent documentary she saw where they were teaching young children that there was no evolution and that men existed alongside dinosaurs*

and then there are those who try to put it into laws. separation of church and state people!

I haven't seen that documentary, but I've heard people try to argue those ideas.  Boo.

okay, i officially do not like dim sum.

I like dim sum.  I just don't like bad dim sum, and it's hard to find good dim sum...
