kills me how some people act like the idea of us coming from monkey's is SOOO ridiculous, but the idea of a guy in the sky just poofing us here, and us all coming from one guy isn't ridiculous at all.

i just don't understand how people can continue to believe something even when facts proving otherwise are presented to them.

i mean, people used to believe the world was flat. i suppose when they figured out it isn't there were people who clung to the belief that it was, with reasons like "ohh but it LOOKS flat!" or "people have believed it was flat for 2000 years, so they must be right!" 

eventually everyone came to accept that the world is indeed round. maybe that's how it'll work with the evolution thing. 

i agree with you Jules.. same with the whole Pledge of Allegiance thing an the dollar bills. its all just ridiculous

yeah i definitely don't get that either, never have!

i am one of those "doesn't know what she believes" people.  but i DO believe in not pushing religious (or otherwise) opinions and beliefs on others.
