Team Awesome Headquarters
Come be a part of Team Awesome! Everyone welcome!
i've made a big effort to watch not doing that, because it annoys K...
gnight missy!
squeee! my brother is coming to visit in feb and my mom is coming in march! excited!
Aw, that's awesome!
am i the only person on this site that finds all the sugar-free and fat-free stuff kind of creepy? skim milk, fine. but all the artificial sweeteners and substitutions freak me out.
i'm reading the after-dinner sweets forum, and pretty much everyone is recommending artificial food! barf.
I'm with you on that one. There's a lady at my work who's on Weight Watchers, and good for her, but she eats sugar-free Jell-O every day at lunchtime. That is not good for you, at least not daily... I guarantee it.
i have am trying to wean myself to black coffee. because my morning coffee is the only time i eat artificial sweeteners. people are so excited about a calorie free salad dressing, and all i can think is "wtf is in it then?"
Lots of guar gum and chemicals. Mmmmm, delicious.
in food with actual calories related news...fuji apples are kind of strange tasting...
i totally agree on the fake sweet, blech not a fan!
though i do love diet coke, i'll admit it
ok, outta here for the night! see you folk tomorrow :)
Bye Jules!
I like Fuji apples... I just got a 3# bag for $1.99 at the store this afternoon on my lunchbreak.
i think i like them too. they're different than what i'm used to. much more crisp and ... light tasting. (light isn't the right word at all).
i bought 2 yesterday because they were pretty.
They have a fabulous texture. During certain times of the year, they taste like honey... but when they're underripe, they kinda taste like nothing at all.
maybe this one is a little underripe then. because if it tasted like honey, i'd be extactic. i love honey!
Yeah, when Fuji apples are at their peak, they are amazing. Even when they aren't, though, I like them better than a lot of varieties because I simply can't stand mealy apples.
i like mcintosh apples. and ambrosia. and now fuji. and galas on a good day.
i hate the deliciouses.
okay, so i don't know what to have for dinner. low cal-ish...
maybe i should just drown myself in sugarfree packets and see what happens!
Mmmm carcinogen packets!
I know these things are supposedly safe, but I can't imagine that the chemicals don't eventually have some adverse effect on the body...
Anyway. I have no idea what I'm having for dinner either!
yeah, lots of things are supposedly safe. in moderation, i don't find them too bad. but when people are eating chemicals with every single meal, it worries me.
maybe i'll make up a wrap. or something like that.
That sounds good. I need to start eating more fresh, whole foods. My diet has gotten disturbingly processed of late.
