i yelled at the T driver this morning!

was trying to get out at my stop for work, but people blocked the way for me and about 5 other people. by the time we got to the door, the guy closed it, and even though we all yelled, he took off anyway (this was one of the smaller trolley type trains)

 so when i got off at the next stop, i went up and told him off.

Don't mess with Jules today!  :/

and old lady behind me was just as pissed, she gave it to him even worse than i did!

Sorry about your lose Jules :(   Youre in my prayers... 

My aunt died lastweek, had her funeral saturday.. Seems like too many people are dying

i almost yelled at a guy at the amtrak call centre.  since my flights keep getting cancelled, i'm now going to take the whole train/bus route home from K's place.  so i called last night and made a reservation for sunday february 15th.  i repeated the date about 10 times (litterly). 

so i check my email this morning, and the biznatch booked it for january 15th.  so i call to change my reservation.  the reservation last night cost $44.  i can see the one i want online for $51.   dude on the phone wanted to charge me $98 for it. 

finally, before i exploded from trying to reason with him for so long, i told him to cancel my original reservation.  then i booked the new one online. 

btw, i know it was just $40...but it was litterly double the price that i was seeing online.  double.

Ugh, HLM, illogic at its worst.

he didn't even understand why i was bothered!  best part?  the one i booked is technically more travel time with the company!

the $51 one is a bus from salem to portland, train from portland to seattle, and bus from seattle to vancouver.

the one i was trying to book over the phone?  started at the train in portland.

and he didn't understand why i was getting frustrated.

that's NUTS!

people can be so obnoxious slo!

he wasn't rude...he just didn't get it.  i almost wish he'd been rude...then i would have been able to be rude back.  ugh. 

i went for a walk last night?  i love my area for wandering around...it's really residential, pretty much all apartments.  a mix of new fancy buildings, and alot of older, low rise 50s era buildings.  quiet enough to be relaxing, but slightly busy, making me feel safe.

like, you can walk around at 1am and be totally comfortable.

I went for a walk last night too. It was pretty awesome. Lucy and I just wandered around town. It was really warm out, and very clear and starry.

I've just had a reminder why you shouldn't do stuff when your head is fuzzy, I was trying to put more tune on my ipod and instead managed to lose everything on it, even the stuff I paid for! tu hu hit the wrong button.........
