well i wanted to say shatballs, but it would have censored me.  so i had to rack my brain for a curseless exclamation.

the winter before we moved here we had a cold snap...it was about -20 for about a week...schools and business's closed, it was horrible

 The commute today was terrible.  Add an hour to my normal commute of 45 minutes.  I just don't understand.
